When I bought this unit I had only 1 blk cartridge in it, later I bought a set, put them in and did print a lot, but nog enough to have problems or install new again. But after these print sessions, some months ago, I did not print anymore, till this morning and then I got this E04 mistake, I cannot solve it, yet.

so you have to have a colour ink in and not only a black one what a rip off

I just solved the problem! I had full black cartridge but empty colour cartridge. Both are inside and I pressed the reset button and held it for 5 seconds. After that I could print (black and white).

The day I got my printer, I was super excited. I had to set it all up and there is an ad that I had to download on my phone, but it works great for copying printing ect I am super excited to have this printer because I’ve already gotten my ink cartridges in 100 more pages of printer paper. The company is actually holding up to their end of the bargain. I get six months free ink, super excited to be owner of this printer would highly recommend it to people that stay at home. Want to print off photos emails copy machine

I'm trying to set the printer up new and getting this error code. 2 different people have tried same response? Seems like this printer is crappy I've seen several comments about this.

Yu need put the both use the old ink is ok and put the black new and the printer will work yu don’t need tu but the color ink

I had the same code on my new TS3150 printer last week. I resolved it by altering the paper size to A4 and pressing OK and it started to print. Hope you have managed to get yours sorted.
