I just got my s8 ultra this last week and I love it. I'm coming from a s7+. I'm an engineering student and I don't think I could function without my tablet. I love the way Samsung notes functions its soo underrated
Yey a samsung tab s8 user! I'm tired of always seeing ipads as the main go to productivity device when samsung offers a better alternative. Especially if you've been an android/windows user for a long time. I've been contemplating whether to choose the tab s8 or go for an ipad (because most people use them so i'm getting convinced that it might be the better option?) but watching this video just made me remember why i wanted a samsung tablet more in the first place.
I have the iPad Pro 12.9 2018 and let me tell you i preordered the tab s8 ultra because ipad its cool and all but I need something better for school.. ipad os its just too limited i hate how its handicapped. It has potential to be a laptop replacement but only until apple lets it truly be a laptop replacement until then ima enjoy that tab s8 ultra..
I love Google Keep. Use it all the time. Got it after losing all my notes stored on a devices genergic note section and have felt confident ever since.
I haven't really used Google keeps before. But how does it differ from say samsung reminders and Microsoft to do? Samsung hides Samsung reminders inside their calender app although it can be seperated.
Keeps widget has rlly nice colors and integrates with Google calendar (my main calendar) - there are a few advanced functions but most to do list type apps are similar
You're speaking the truth sir... If you can't make full use of all the power, what good is having it? Just so you can say it's there? Samsung's implementation of applications/ software and hardware allows you to maximize it's power/potential by giving you the ability to customize your flow in a way that works for you. Apple's implementation says this is the way you should be using it or you're doing it wrong. It's just that it's a lot of money to pay for something that YOU own only to have someone else tell you how you are ALLOWED to use it. I like Apple products. I do recommend them most of the time to family but I'm also honest about their limitations and shortcomings. That's something people just don't do when it comes to Apple for whatever reason.
I use my notion in kiosk mode, so no distractions. That turned my tab into a productivity device. On notion I have my main templates setup, so it’s always useful and synchronized. Great video!
I personally write notes on paper, while samsung note is used as a to-do-list. As for samsung dex, it is the greatest leap in making tablets an computer replacement, I adore Samsung dex. And the bunny girl senpai Opening was pretty smooth.
As a creative professional, the apps for the Samsung just aren't there. I spend half my time in each ecosystem, with an iPhone and an Android, a Mac and a PC, but quite simply Android's software cannot compete. I love the S-Pen, I love the larger form factor, but the lack of high-end support for Android makes it impossible to justify. Hopefully companies will start switching over at some point.
I have both, a work provided 2018 iPad Pro and a Galaxy Tab S8+. I prefer the S8+ but I haven't found any apps that can compete with Drafts, LumaFusion, MindNode, Highlights or Fantastical. Technically my iPad has a faster processor as well but it's not really noticeable in actual use.
Great video! Subscribed to your channel. I'm currently trying to decide if I should get the s8 plus or ultra. Ugh so hard to decide. I wanna use it for class and studying but also media consumption. What do you think?
Seems like the Screen size is a big winner, but since it's so large it can be inconvenient to transport. But I guess people do that with their laptops already.
This poor person couldn't figure out how to use an iPad how stupid is he ha ha ha ha , well I have a ultra and as a apple ecco user with Mac mini and iPhone the only thing I miss is better apps AND YES Im willing/able to pay for them so developers don't let the google play store be the poor mans App Store only, bring on the quality apps at least for Samsungs quality tablets!!

Not showing Notion on the ultra is a bait and switch....Notion on Android (on the ultra) is horrible and about unusable.
