I can relate to public shaming. At some point in my life, I got so insecure that I couldn't eat anything in public. Whenever my friends offered food, I refused them just so nobody would give me those stares. It got so bad that I stopped bringing lunch to school in 8th grade and it continued until the last year of high school. I would literally starve myself for 8-10 hours on a daily basis. My self-confidence went down the drain and I started accepting my ugly reality.

I've felt that "I don't even want this now" feeling after someone making a comment on my weight. Its one of the worst things I've ever felt. And when you lose the weight you feel accomplished...but still don't like yourself because of loose skin. It's like a never ending cycle.

I struggled so much dealing with my weight issues since I was ten. I use to be 23 stone and i got a point that i said enough is enough. I need to loose this weight. I am now at 12 stone and still working on it. Everybody in this world has beauty. Big or slim. She is beautiful, though its hard to not say its unhealthy. Body posivity is great, but being healthy is just as important. I hope they stay happy together.

I think it was an episode of my 600lb life. The overweight women wanted to lose weight the the man who catered to her ever need because he loved her so much was afraid she would leave him after she lost the weight. It may have been a different show but....I think that man actually does love her.

He’s lost a lot of weight and is quite smaller than me, I’m happy for him but it brings me down and I get a little more insecure. He tells me he loves me no matter what, he’s attracted to chubby woman but whether I weighed 100lbs or 600lbs, his love for me would never change.
