Several years ago, when Miss Bish was still the organist at Coral Ridge, I traveled to Florida to see her and hear her play. As one of the organists at my church at home at the time, I hoped to pick up some helpful suggestions for better liturgical performance. I learned a great deal just from the time spent watching her and, after the service, found that she was very gracious, she listened to me and to my questions, and made helpful suggestions. I've never forgotten that-I love this woman!!!!
to Jim Anderson: This arrangement is from her "Morning Has Broken" Hymns Cantata, it exists as a choral work with organ and orchestra, but the reduction might be useable...?
I don't see Diane on tv anymore. At least in my area (Miami) ... Too bad because I never missed one of her programs when it was aired. Anyone know if she is still airing the Joy of Music? She is a tremendous performer. Thanks.
She was resident organist at the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, the location seen here in this video. So its very likely she is of the same denomination of that church.
I am so sadden'd by this piece... i ordered the book Vol1 and it's not the version she is playing.... Where is the music that she is reading from?? I'd pay handsomely for it.... now i have to reverse engineer this piece by ear to transpositino papter
I contacted Diane Bish through Facebook some months ago and she said the following: "This is from "Morning Has Broken". A Symphony of Hymns" for Choir and Organ published by Hinshaw." I contacted Hinshaw publishing, and unfortantely the music is available only on a rental basis.

My favorite Diane Bish hym arrangement. I think all organists should learn it.
refreshing, prolific arrangement - you'll love the tempo
In Poland this is the song what singing in the Churches on the many masses. Very great performance! :)
@willoooooooob9 Her website (listed on my channel page) has a list of networks and times The Joy of Music is airing.

ANGEL'S MUSIC
Awesome
@tylermatthewmarz ..... I see. I wasn't sure what point you were making. True many religions share common hymns.......thank God!
John 3:16
this is a beautiful hymn and this arrangement sounds good but the original hymn is better!
@tylermatthewmarz .. does it matter? Really!

I know that this hymn is in the Adventist hymnal.
I have a copy of this exact arrangement. I used the choral arrangement and this recording to transcribe it. Message me if you would still like it.
Why does the woman speak in the Church?
The woman did not exercise authority over man.
It’s also a concert and not a church service.
