Thank You, Nelson, please return to 10-minute clock time, it's so much more beneficial for audience instruction than the mire 5 minute limitation. Thank You very Much for this important consideration, Mike.
They have done this already. It was really good, go check it out if you've missed it. I'm glad they have now done a 3 minute one. Super helpful to see!
Hey I just wanted to say that I just won a game in six moves because of the polish defense spassky gambit that I learned from this channel. They resigned after I took their rook and queen by move 6 and I owe it all to you. I actually had a moment after thr first few moves where I had no idea what the next move was supposed to be but clearly I did something right. I know this is an old post so I hope you and your family are health and keep up the good work. -Kevin
Haha I saw the same thing, The moment he said, "If black goes here I'll take the rook." I heard a little internal condescending voice that sounded like Hikaru say, "no, if black goes there you take the queen" 🤣
I don't understand how some players abandon 3min games.. Isn't there always something gained in just trying?? even if it seems futile? like you practice "fighting futility".. isn't that worth time?
Your composure is unreal. Thanks for making this series!

Hearing out your thought process behind each move out loud is extremely helpful!

Yo! A body building channel sounds awesome! I've been getting into strength training & chess this year. It's perfect!

Before Qb1 you had a royal fork with your night (Ne3). 🎉
Hey Nelson great stream… it was awesome to see you play the Icelandic gambit. It would be cool to see you play the Icelandic gambit more often 👍🏽
Think you’re a chess bully…I love it!
45:26 . . . Why wouldn't you fork the queen?
56:37 - the Bernie Sanders gambit, everything is free
10:04 Nelson castles …O-o-O-O-O
Is this series over or on a break?
very fast tactical skirmishes.. really good games
45:30 Can Get Fork On Queen and King Rather than Taking Rook 🙂
