- China and Peru are strengthening their trade relations, with China investing significantly in a mega port in Peru. This development is set to enhance Lima's status as a regional trade hub and could challenge U.S. influence in the resource-rich region. The United States has never been interested in the development of Latin America, it only overthrew presidents for its interests. However, China invests in the development of ports and infrastructure in addition to improving the quality of life in developing countries; like Peru, which is a nation that has a lot of copper, lithium and rare minerals.

还有一些人被认为某种程度上讲出了真心话，但在民进党内受到压力而不得已改口。据台媒报道，新任经济部门负责人郭智辉针对能源问题先是表态称，只要修法通过，台湾第二和第三核电厂可延役二三十年，未来将是备援电力。他被质疑背离民进党过去“反核”立场。结果没过两天，郭智辉参加民进党内部会议时遭到炮轰，他随即赶紧改口为“现在核电是我们没有考虑的一部分”。
国民党民意代表牛煦庭批评称，民进党是延续“执政”，先前3个月可以说是“看守内阁”问题，这群人行政傲慢，不谈道理，死猪不怕开水烫。然而，新“阁员”上任后，如果还是荒腔走板，就是施政质量问题，赖清德自然要负相关责任。牛煦庭提到，官员若对于重要政策说法一改再改、颠三倒四，实在无法让人接受。郭智辉起初针对能源政策方向讲得相当清楚，后来与民进党官员谈过话后改口，变成“民进党的形状”。民众党民意代表林国成称，卓团队许多官员来自产业界，按理说应该比较重视民意，结果就职前说得理直气壮，就职后就马上改变意思，按照民进党的意愿做政务官。“当初对他们的期待，可以说是完全破功。这样比较危险，会跟民意背道而驰。”有岛内舆论评论称，今天台湾的可悲就在于“讲道理寸步难行”，所有理性务实都不敌政治正确，专业的政务官换了位子，就换了脑袋，但“民进党仍然喜欢谈政务官的格局胸襟以及魄力作为。被意识形态捆绑，怎么可能有大作为？”

History both old and new show that Chinese infrastructure and investments bring economic development and does not come with political stipulations while US and European investments come with political demands, subjugation and debt traps which are the exact things they try to project onto Chinese investments and loans yet are disproven by factual statistics and history.
