Derry and Johnnie talk about the making of the record at Phase One Studios, how they came up with the band name and what it was like shooting the music video while strapped to the edge of Niagara Falls. I love these guys - just saw them (again) in a tiny venue in Mississauga and they sound 100% exactly the same as they did in '86.
These guys found some secret potion and they've just got it still.

I am from Niagata Falls, NY originally. Loved Honeymoon Suite in the 80's and still do. I used to climb Clifton Hill in 2 1/2 inch heels . Ah, those were the days, the 1980's!

I saw Honeymoon Suite 3 times...my favourite show was a cabaret in Saskatoon (Jubilee Auditorioum in the basement) with "Canada's Party Band" Trooper in 1990

I still remember the late 80s, maybe starting in 1985 shows like Good rockin tonight and video hits, playing a mixture of canadian and US bands. Loved honeymoon suite, had the cassettes at the time and finally just got their first 3 CDs. Burning in love is fantastic
All these years later and last night I opened my front window and listened to them play live down the street on the floating stage in the Welland Canal. Still sounded great! Sound floated into our living room...and for awhile it was like bein' in the 80s again.

Such a great band! I remember one of my roommates at Ryerson was from St. Catherines he said this band was conceited. LOL. They both seem down to earth. I saw them live the first time when Haywire opened for them in London, ON I believe the year I graduated from high school. Such great memories !

Richard Trueman , I don't know that Johnnie looks like Michael Moore, I do think he has aged well. He was "God like" gorgeous for most of his life, just love his voice. As a fan, I am deeply biased in Johnnie's favour.🙂

I remember hearing they had a manager who basically stole their composer and publishing share, and they were totally jipped out of lots of money. Is it true?
Not a huge fan but they came and rocked my town.. never knew so many attractive middleage women lived here and dig rocknroll ..so im gonna say like and bang my head a lil
