Saw them in Vancouver about 20 years ago and my GF now wife still had a crush on the lead singer. At the time she said ya he's 20 years older than me but I'd sleep with him. Thanks Hun???

I wore this cassette (yes sir a cassette)out in my jeep one summer in the 80's love these guys so much! Just here to revisit when live was care free and fun.
I love this band! I remember when they filmed this video on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls...I had to beg my mom to let me go and watch with everyone cuz I was home sick from school that day..Here we are a bunch of wild teen girls screaming for Johnnie Dee! What a great night!!
Old Niagara images from the early 80's - What a nostalgia trip seeing that - That's literally the last time I visited there when I was about 7 years of age... I'm almost 50 now and wouldn't even recognize it anymore.
I was down at my cousin's farm in Welland today and took a drive through the Falls for the first time in years. I don't recognize the town or Southern Ontario in general. They chopped down the trees and named the subdivisions after them. What can you do?
Not only only an awesome song but this video is a fabulous tribute to their hometown of Niagara Falls, Ontario one of the worlds great natural landmarks
I love how this video makes me recall what pre-development Niagara Falls looked like. No casino, no giant hotels, just a small tourist trap town. As a child in the 70's and early 80's I spent a week every summer at one campground or another between Niagara Falls and Welland, with many a trip to Niagara Falls, Marineland, and even one trip over the border to Fantasy Island where I experienced my first roller coaster ride on the Wild Cat (?).
One of the great, truly underappreciated 80s bands. I never even heard of these guys until I was in my early 20s (like 2004) but this is amazing pop rock/arena rock. They should've been rivaling Bon Jovi, Journey and Foreigner.
Awesome 80 song, by honeymoon suite..still ripping it up with their beautiful awesome music at work.......I never missed the 80s, I'm like stuck in the 80s.......loving every minutes of it.....
Didn't get stamped at the local fair! "Honeymoon was on stage!" Forgot my smokes in the van, ran back for them.... Got back to the gate .... After paying my admission, I got turned away!😞 Been wanting to see these guys since.... Dang, a kid!! Had to listen to them from the van🤬
So would I. Class of 86 here, had the time of my. 80s is a better generation then todays crap of a generation. It was a differnt time. People spoke differerntly, had differnt attidudes. Everything was better, such as music, televison, movies. We had so much fun going to pit parties, abandonware house partied, bon fire at the beach, when it was legal. Race cars, going to rumbles, going to drive in movies, and eating at a dinner, playing chicken. going to rock concerts for dirt cheap. I wish I had a time machine so I can relive it again.
I use to buy 2 cassettes at one time. So when I wore out one listening to it over and over, I would always have an extra on hand. Love this group so much. Classic 80s rock band at their best!!! 80s music rules.
I was so lucky to see them up at The Key, in Bala, Muskoka, Ontario! Small place, I was just a teen sneaking in!! They were sooo amazing!! Fireworks! ❤️🇨🇦🔥❤️
Love this song. Happy to find out that it is Honeymoon Suite that does this song. For the longest time I didn't know who did this song. Great Canadian band. Count me in agreement on them being underrated.
Mark Petarde There was no internet or TH-cam to help market Canadian bands to the larger U.S. and international market. If you were a Canadian band and your name was not Bryan fucking Adams, then U.S. radio stations and music video tv shows would not give you the time of day. Ironically, TH-cam was the reason why Canada is now represented by the likes of Justin Bieber.

We hitch hiked from Hamilton to Niagara falls to see this band at some dive bar. We were 16 and got a ride home. We had to sleep in the backyard. Best night of the year
I saw the video for "Burning In Love" when I was 8 years old back in 1984 and I thought the song and the video were creepy, but cool. Now I know that I mistook edgy for creepy back then. The Canadian bands have always had a lot of guts and an edge and Honeymoon Suite are one of that county's best bands. I love them and have now for a really long time. Back then they were very popular here and now a Canadian secret. They're overlooked in the USA!

Got them to autograph the first album when they came to a record signing in Merritt Island, Florida...then either that night, or the next night I saw them live at a little club named Brassy's in Cocoa Beach, Florida...they were gearing up for the "The Big Prize tour" they rocked then, still rock now......

Canadian music never got the respect it deserves. great bands
Honeymoon Suite deserved far more success than received. This is an absolutely classic rock track from the 80's. It still sounds so good today.
Without a doubt so many great songs and really good live too!
Totally agree 10000000%
Every classic rock artist I watch there’s always this same comment lol

Hard to believe I was a 16 year old Winnipeg girl. when this song came out.... They were such a hot Canadian Band.

Hard to believe all the refugees up in them hotels now
Great memories
Canadian rock in the 80s it doesn't get any better.

Driving my '81 Firebird, rally rims gleaming, summer night, windows down, hair blowing wildly and this song....cranked to the max......
This was a big hit because it’s a really good song, can’t stop singing it
So many memories. I’d give anything to go back to these days.
Me too
I’m only 18 years old and I think this is way better music than what people my age listen to nowadays. Honeymoon Suite rocks🤘🇨🇦

Totally love this song.
28 years old, bassist of 10 years. 80’s will always be the best
Legendary Master guitarist Derry Grehan working at his fine craft. I personally think that Derry is one of the best guitar players EVER!
Sick guitar riffs on this track and their other songs. Derry is hugely underrated.
Massively influenced by Eddie Van Halen as well. Such a tasteful player and a master of melodic phrasing.
@@vinaymulukutla358seen them open for aldo nova last week and couldn’t believe how great they were

The keyboard riff carried the entire song. One of their best.
@@shameelnabbie6594 agreed the synth riff was great
