    For a while now I have been trying to write a comment befitting the creative effort that you are making in these very wonderful videos. Indeed, you are a very, very creative person, and I wish you a lot of success and development. My name is Ali and I live in Germany, and I tried to write the comment with the help of Google Translate because my languages are German and Arabic

    Have you considered mounting the landmine attachment higher on the power rack upright? You could probably achieve an arc that changes directions horizontally halfway through, but cuts down significantly on absolute horizontal movement of the attachment point on the bar.

      In other words, bar angled up at top of ROM, bar angled down at bottom of ROM.

    Love the ingenuity and resourcefulness to explore different options to overcome the challenges of setting up a safe and effective belt squat. But boy does it seem like a lot of investment in equipment and setup each time. I suppose that's why I've stuck with straight-bar squatting and safety bar squats. But thank you for sharing the how-to options!

    Hello kaizen.. i would like to know your thoughts on this theory.. so lets say i want to keep the landmine, and want to adress the curve.. do you think theres a solution by letting the hook be with a larger hole, that the carabin can slide in.. like a track, or maybe even just attaching a piece of flat steel loosely screwed to the hook (so it can move, like a lever exstension), and then carabiner in this piece of flat steel, so the attachment is flexible.. lastly ad like to ask if you think that a slightly angled stance on the platform is better then flat surface✌️👍✌️i really enjoy some of your diy.. thanks for contribution. ✌️✌️✌️

    I'm sorry but that Henney strap idea is terrible. The lever arm is constantly changing because the strap swings back and forth as you squat. I did a warm up set to try that out and I felt it all in my lower back only. A landmine is definitely the way to go.

    • @KaizenDIYGym
      @KaizenDIYGym  ปีที่แล้ว

      There’s got to be a way to make it work. If your RM3 is near a wall, you can attach the landmine to the wall

    At time 1:31 what is that piece of equipment being used to raise the barbell off the floor in order to load the plates onto the barbell? Could that be used as a load assist to get into position to perform belt squats?

    • @KaizenDIYGym
      @KaizenDIYGym  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a deadlift jack. Typically it only elevates the plates an inch off the ground, so it helps but not much.

    How do you like the stainlness knurled handes for your jammer arms? They look nice but only offer one grip, you think theyre worth upgrading over the stock handles which offer multigrips?

    • @KaizenDIYGym
      @KaizenDIYGym  ปีที่แล้ว

      What I don’t like about the stock handles is that they’re bulky and you don’t have many placement options. They also force you to keep the weights on the sides of the jammer arms. I really prefer having the weights in front. I love the stainless handles because they’re so versatile.

    Is there a way to do belt squats with the entire barbell from the center instead of one end, im trying to minimize loading and unloading.

    • @KaizenDIYGym
      @KaizenDIYGym  ปีที่แล้ว
