The latest in a four-part strategy guide for the official fantasy Tour de France game, this video introduces viewers to some methods of tabulating and analyzing rider data during and after the Tour de France. I demo my spreadsheet from the 2023 Tour and share some examples of its uses and the conclusions one might make by looking at the data in this way.

Thank you!! Do you have any recommendations for the 5 coins cyclists?

I do, we’ve been having discussion on this topic over in my discord server. Come join the discussion. Nikias Arndt is my favorite at the minute.

Pick a rider from a Continental pro team ( not a World tour team ) ( this means TotalEnergie , Lotto-Dstny etc ... ) they basically go on Advertising breakout even without any chance of winning , because they desperately needs this exposure/money . And this year there are Point given for each km in the breakout .

@@benjaminduval6237 yes good strat. That’s why Grellier is my second pick for 5-cost riders.

Are you planning on doing any short videos throughout the tour explaing your thoughts on changes once things develop more?

Unsure. Is that something you think people would want to see? I definitely will be posting my trades (and all of my thoughts) in the discussions over on my discord server (discord.gg/hMc9AazT4a, invite code: hMc9AazT4a).
Part of the challenge is I will be in France (in Nice!) for second half of the tour so I don't know if I will be able to make videos while traveling.
I do have over 50 subscribers now, so I could do some live videos from my phone.

@@JoeFoxJr for casual folk like me who aren't serious enough to join discord, get bogged down in stats, and love a good summation vid (where someone else has done all the hard work 😉), it would be great. I figured there aren't many trades to make and some would come at the same time. Equally assumed those videos wouldn't need to be that long so not too much work to make. I imagine people would be interested in the tactics of trades with the benefit of how things pan out in real time. You are right though, people can just join the discord. Better you enjoy being in the moment in Nice than making videos I reckon. Good work for all the content on it thus far 👍

@@abinley thanks for the feedback, I’ll definitely consider it, especially if I can find a good way to do it via mobile.

@@abinley lol I don’t know about that! One challenge will be getting the videos up online early enough to be useful, especially for EU-based folks. I live in the US and usually don’t make my daily decisions until late at night.
