"If Hell March is Stairway to Heaven, Act On Instinct is When the Levee Breaks" -Evan Lahti, PC Gamer Magazine Everyone rightfully remembers Hell March, but Act On Instinct really is the best C&C song. One of the best songs ever written, really- gaming or otherwise.
The moment you start the GDI campaign and you see the gunboat powering past as the hovercraft hits the beach and embarks your soldiers, and the iconic power chords that form Act on Instinct start playing is the moment you, as a 90's gamer, were hooked on this game. That's how good that song is. Without doubt the 90's gaming rock anthem to end all 90's gaming rock anthems.
There is my childhood. Will never forget starting up C&C for the first time back in '96, starting the GDI campagin and getting this epic song as an introduction. So happy about the Remaster, both the game and the music.
I still hear the *woosh woosh boom boom* of the GDI missile boat hitting the NOD turrets on the first mission as my riflemen and humvees come ashore when I hear this song.
Thank you all for your good work, heart, and Love for these works! We all appreciate it so much! Hearing this, it definitely is something wonderful! Looking forward to the continued awesomeness!
The Legend Frank Klepacki and his Horsemen Of The Tiberium Genesis, playing this awesome piece of video game music history, Thank You guys!! You are GREAT!! 😎🤟🏻
I had the soundtrack CD for command and conquer that came in a deluxe edition or something, I was maybe 9 years old. All my games were destroyed in a house fire a couple of years later but I found that one CD covered in soot on the ground, it wouldn't play in my CD player any more but I managed to rip it to MP3 and I still listen to it to this day, such a unique vibe
One of my top 3 C&C songs; it's so nostalgic on top of being so catchy. The transition at 1:00 is so affective at relieving some of the tension the song builds up. Keep up the phenomenal work! If EA is smart they'll release another C&C Remastered and we can enjoy new remixes in later C&C titles. I love Red Alert 2, so a hypothetical HD remaster gets me really excited.
My first, and still favorite, music from the C&C games. Such a strong opening piece and it's great being remastered and kept up to date. Rock on! Kane lives!
This is PURE magic. Nostalgia. Wow. Seldom has any game given a better first impression than the original C&C, due to this song kicking off the first level.
This was a pleasant surprise! So awesome. It's no wonder that as Act on Instinct is my favourite C&C track (which is saying something), that the Tiberian Sons Act on Instinct was my fav from the '25 Years' soundtrack. It really is the perfect version. You guys nailed it!
I never played the original C&C, because I was too young to play such a violent game at the time. But thanks to the remastered collection, I can finally see what I was missing out at the time!
So cool to see all you guys here in the comments sharing stories and love for the C&C series. I'd like to see a poll of some sort of elegance GDI or NOD.
This music, and these games are not going anywhere, anytime soon. We just had an event last weekend for Renegade and it's 21st birthday. A lot of people showed up, and I'm glad to see that this C&C universe just keeps coming at us all! Keep it up you guys! Still looking forward to your next concert state side!
Awesome finally in studio videos, magfest will always be the best performed honestly but good to see work in studio done, just hope the next games go well soon even after Jim leaving so soon
STILL one of the best OSTs after nearly 30 years
More than 30 years ❤
@@redthorpe Yes, with Dune, before, yes!
@@redthorpe CnC is from 1995... 28 years
I bought this game ... and then I bought a second copy, just because the OST was bundled with it. It was just THAT good!
It really is fantastic.
"Yes sir!"
"Affirmative!"
"Moving out!"
'"Acknowledged!"
"Conscript Reporting"
Hotwire!
"Yo!"
"Howdy!"
"I've got a present for ya!"
"Real tough guy!"

I agree!
I find this to be one of the best remixes of it!

mud and radio also rule as well
Three of my favorites that are grossly underrated is RA's Face The Enemy 1, Face The Enemy 2, and Run.
@@TheEDFLegacy ive always liked the renegade version of act on instinct

unable to comly, building in progres
Such a timeless piece, doesn't matter how long ago C&C came out, this still slaps hard.
I can still see the MCV beach landing sequence in my head when I hear this track.
I was there... 3000 years ago.
Loved it then, loving it now, will love it for the rest of my time.
God this sounds so good, all those years after it was originally released. Long may it continue, Peace through Power!!

This song NEVER GETS OLD. Great job Frank and the Tiberian Sons! Long Live C & C!

Which c&c is it at. I'm confused is it tiberium wars 2 or what
I played C&C when I was just 8yrs old. It s been 26yrs to hear this music again. Feels somewhat new to me now.
God my childhood lol 😂🤣 Please bring back a new Westwood Studio!
Kane may be one of the most iconic game villains but Frank certainly made some of the most iconic in game songs out there.
This is my phone's current ringtone. I am glad I stumbled upon this.
Thank you all for your good work, heart, and Love for these works!

After all these years, the soundtracks for Tiberian Dawn, and Red Alert 1 are still my favorites.
This is so good. Definitely listening to this multiple times a day

One of the greatest music creators and one amazing band playing some of the greatest music in the world. Love
We are going to have to act... if we want to live in a different world.
Gentlemen, this hits harder than ever, and I dig it.
Офигенный трек, как в детстве его услышал, так и бывает его переслушиваю уже лет так 20😊
It puts a smile on my face that this OST is still getting the praise and recognition it deserves. Long live Command and Conquer! Peace Through Power!
I still love it! Command and Conquer lives!
hell yeah
I effing love this omg👌🏽🔥
This song made me buy Tiberian Dawn. My first pc game, 1 month before I finally got the pc.

Sin duda una de las mejores canciones de C&C
I've waited my whole life for this
you put a big smile on my face
Thank you Maestro for composing one of the greatest music pieces ever created, and thank you The Tiberians Sons for bringing it live!
"Act On Instinct" and "C&C Thang" are probably my fav 2! Amazing vid!
You know the 90s had good music when the video games from that time have tracks like this
Can't wait to hear the remastered Tiberian sun music.
Just awesome.

Awesome.👍🏻
Oh that's crisp, the synth backing really elevated, and elevates, this track, but those riffs are still the sickest parts.

There is one definitive rule to Command & Conquer: do NOT kill the innocent harvesters.
Harvester Under Attack.
oh yeah!
Top 3 music composer in gaming history: frank klepacki. I wish he and tiberian sons come to my country for a concert.

Definitely legendary. Should’ve been done when it was created originally but that’s fine. It would have gotten tens of millions of views
