Life saver. I fixed this myself in front of a bunch a dumb drooling dudes who had no idea what to do. Thanks for the confidence boost.

I am a senior senior and I do the exact same procedure plus I take the nut off the front and remove the outside wheel. The nut is 1 7/16 but you can use a 36mm 12 point if you have to. It makes it a lot easier to slide the track off and on and an electric impact takes just seconds.

The correct measurement for track tension is 2.75.

Bolt came out of my front roller on the boom side of the machine. Its a tx413 now i know how to get the track off. Also one of the center track rollers came off. Gonna go over this machine real well and hopefully catch any possible near future failures.

Hey man i have around the same dingo as you 420/425tx and my "bogie" wheel fell off. I can't seem to find the right part for it, if you could help me out with that. Also do i need to replace anything else or check anything else? I know there are wheels on the inside as well.

Does the tension bolt screw into the tenion spring?

I’d like to ask... How rough should this machine be driving on solid surfaces suck as concrete and pavement? The one I have is so bad you almost can’t stand it. I’m in question of the tracks being at fault.

How do u grease them afterwards?

They don't have any grease fittings. I used antiseize on the threads to make them easier to change next time.
