It’s always interesting to see these French events that you don’t get anywhere else.
Traditional events are very big here
Mr Boo most certainly knows his stuffing and where to put it! 😂... Keep them coming guy's, this one was delicious! ❤
He does!
Mr Boo's reaction and expression when asked if he would like a glass of wine - "Always.." Couldn't have put it better myself🤣 Another gem from the M&MA Studios - keep 'em coming boys - so enjoyable❗
Thanks Peter!
Very cool! I appreciate the smaller festivals that we would usually never hear about. 😊
Thanks Jodie. We love them
Excellent fun! Thank you Tim and Mr Boo!
Thanks Mike!
Wow! This was much more exciting than the Electric F1 in Monaco!
Well done, Tim and Mr Boo! 🤩
Yes I think I prefer stuffing
@@MeandMonAmiDon't we all😂😂😂
A Good Informative and Enjoyable Episode. Is it any wonder that I love watching them so much. 🧸🧸🐶🚙
Thanks Jamie
I wish I could be there now, I love all these different local specialties. Another great video 👍🏻
Thanks very much!
I loved the broadcasting from the bin area, I just hope no farci got left behind in the dash to the results announcement!
mr Boo loved it too. No far is were sacrificed in the making of the show!
I just finished my food and now all the goodies again, it all looks delicious!
They were yum!
HI, great to see another slice of Nice. Plus the return of smallholding !
The small holding is back!
My French wife does her own farcis using potatoes, tomatoes, courgettes, mushrooms and peppers. Then makes a sauce with onion and the hollowed out bits of the veggies. The farci stuffing is made with minced pork and left over baguette. She inherited the method from her Maman, who was from Hérault. So a very southern-mediteranean thing.
Nice!
@@MeandMonAmi The city, or just... niiice? 😂
OMG Mary! Holy Petitis Facrcis Batman looks yummy! 😋😋
It was!
Well.. That talking about pickled onions made my eyes water😂😂😂(that story is still in my mind) 😅
Never goes away
Thank you for sharing this slice of French heaven.
Our pleasure it’s a magical event
Very interesting and a clip of the legendary Goodies! Always a Sunday highlight
I loves the Goodies as a kid!
Great to see you’re back! Hooray for the petit farci! My favorite part are the tastings on your show!
Thanks Carole!
Hilarious commentary 😂.. you really built it up 👏🏻👏🏻😂
Petit farcis drama!
I finally saw a Solex bike in the flesh a couple of weeks ago at a car museum in Bunbury, Western Australia!
We still see them on the roads here but less so since rule change
Brilliant, thanks for sharing 👍
thanks lynda
Once again, you have made my Sunday evening. Thank you!
Thanks glad you enjoyed
Right, doggy has been walked, I've got my tea, and I'm hungry, so impress me please gentlemen. 8-)
Just great fun this episode❤
Thanks we loved being there
@@MeandMonAmi grand summer coming...
I didn't see that STAY SUNNY t-shirt in your shop! When is it in the collection? ❤
and now i'm hungry again !
I've learned the hard way to eat right before their videos come out, didn't help today!
Sorry!
Awesome video as usual xx
Thanks Thom
Thanks again for interesting festival . Your so lucky live in this area . I’m going to a macdonald s festival next week , so there …..nnrrrrrr. Stay charged
Maccy D v popular in France too!
Loved it
thanks
Excellent sarcasm "Media Scrum" 🤔 four cameras and one smart phone. 😂
Anyway, it had a small Village feel to it. I'm inspired to stuff some peppers.
Sarcasm! It was wild!
interesting..and as you said I did see an interesting "thing" (actually a pretty face) on 10.55 right behind you... hehe keep making interesting videos. hehe
Thanks!
I wished I could finding interesting food events in Cornwall that were as good as this! It’s all fish, pasties and 🍺 lol 😂
I was hearing about the world pasty championship!
Great vlog 😊
Thank you!! 😊
That looks such fun - and tasty! Looking forward to a glass at La Cave de La Tour this week! It really is a fabulous place!
Excellent. Did you go last time you were here?
@@MeandMonAmi Yes we did - for a drink in the evening and loved it.
Loved it! However I am with Mr.Boo about eating over the bins !! 🤣
It seems I’m in the minority!;
I am feeling very hungry now. Thanks for another great video
Thanks Jean!
The French! Any excuse for a festival, I love it! Great video, but eating over the bins??? 😮😮😮
I think Mr Boo agreed but it meant you could see the festival in the background!
Very nice food in Nice😁
Not many vlogs from the municipal bins!
I’m all class!
I was going to say, at 6:45 Tim I think it would be a great blast from the past to see you haul your old Solex out, give it whirl and and show us what that classic French goodness was all about. I was about to suggest an e-conversion for a Solex but looking into EU and French laws, the restriction of 250W on an ebike would be pretty marginal for the Solex (or any ebike in my opinion). I also saw mention of fines of up to €30,000 for riding a modified electric bike in the EU? I find that astonishing and even hard to believe that some pensioner could be wiped out for pedaling around on a home-made e-bike but what's not to be believed today. It would be hard for me to give up the joy and and heath my 40mph technically "legal" e-mountain bike provides, and that I can ride just about anywhere.
Yes sadly the e Solex’s also need matriculation now! Judging from the amount of e bikes tearing around with little or no pedalling going on I’m not sure that hefty fine has been widely imposed!
It's always a pleasure to see these little cultural details and events from the mediterranean region of France; undoubtedly, everything involving food is an important part of the local culture.
Those Petits Farcis look absolutely delicious :)
It was a lovely event and the farcis were REALLY good!
Incredibly French and nice to see something like that taking place in an almost village-like atmosphere. Were the Petis Farcis €10 each? Surely not
Indeed and in a city
Good to see the support for us Trans people in Nice , sadly here in the UK a certain religious demographic has took hold in London so I never go out much its no longer safe for Transwomen like me , I may move to another country soon as its really that bad sadly.
I fear the European elections will expose a similar line of thought over here
@@MeandMonAmi Oh not good Tim , I hope you and Mr Boo and Twiggy will stay safe , Its awful the way these Far right people think very dangerous they are , Its very sad as real progress for LGBTQ+ people had been made here in the UK but over the last 3 years since the big C happened things have regressed back to like the 1970s , I'm thinking of going to New Zealand as that is a safe country for LGBT+ people , anyway hope you all have a greet week cheers 🍻
Ooooo....now that's what I call a must-do event! Love these regional French events that you don't see anywhere else! Eating sausage stuffed veg and drinking wine before noon is soooo French....(had to laugh because the man who announced the winner seemed...well...a wee bit wobbly & pickled...ha ha ha ha...). Anyway, love love love all of it! Keep on going, Tim and Mr. Boo! Can't wait to see what else you take us to. Mother's Day here in Canada, bit of a bust with all the heavy smoke that blew in from forest fires burning two provinces away! My outdoor plan was kiboshed, but still, a most enjoyable day. Thank you so much for all that you two do...
🍆🧅🧄🫑🍅🍷
Me too they are so charmant!
My first bike was a solex here in oban in 1979 but alas we needed insurance, tax and mot then. Mine was bright yellow. Love your videos :)
Thanks. I had a yellow one too, the sort of more girly one. I wish we didnt have to insure it cos I’d love to get it back on the road
"it stinks!" LMAO...
He was not impressed!
I must be on Acid. I just saw a giant dog chasing three men around a garden. 🤣
Goody Goody yum yum!
Another excellent episode. 😊
Thanks
Petit Farcis? I don't think you can find those anywhere in the United States. I will put them on my list to try when I come back.
They are lovely if done well
I read this first as Stuffed in Mice and it may say something about my understanding of French cuisine that it sounded plausible.
Haven’t tried that, yet..
They looked amazing , thanks 👍
mon plaisir
3 stuffings for a tenner... can't complain at those prices...😁
Indeed. Six!
Mister Me and Mister Boo, well Tim the French people certainly know how to have a good excuse for a p**ss up in whatever event they care to name it ! 😂😂😂 wasn't even midday & I think some had already over indulge 😂😂stay safe & well, charged & definitely stuffed!,🎉
Oh yes they like a party there!
No marrow!
To Marrow?
Wot- no parsnips?
No!
Catching up again ... Might I just express my humble opinion that there is no such thing as too much politics on this channel. Liberté, égalité, fraternité and all that. (Perhaps also sororité?). Express away.
This episode: "A Niche in Nice"
Definitely a better choice than the popular choice! And what was that: 'Get charged and stay stuffed'?
It was a fun morning
Another day stuffed with fun. Veg joke. what is best Vegetable to take on a date. A mushroom, because he's a Fungi😲
I still like that joke!
Love your video. Another yummy one. I would like to donate to upur channel. What are my options?
Thanks very much: either this way: paypal.me/aqueerinprovence
Or this way: www.buymeacoffee.com/Timfountain
The Tim-BIN-Laden episode, troughing food over litter bins, ..you continue to take us to all the best places! 🤣 ..so how about that big supermarket cafe, shame tesco, waken the sleeping masses as to a half decent steak, proper coffee with chocolate on the side & dare I say a carafe of wine with lunch!? all on the cheap! ..poor mr boo, at least he'll get a sit down.
You should see the bit I cut for bad language! Do you mean Nice TNL?
@@MeandMonAmi I think I do, been too long since I was passing through, I tend to use the ones on the drive across the channel to Savoie as a proper rest stop & recharge the car on valley floor leg before the climb (& so we have plenty of electrons for local travel & into Switzerland) I am a bit of a zealot where these are concerned because the uk driver doing the run across france tends to hammer it rather than utilise these places, & once found we all unilaterally decided every time, STOP, have a meal, coffee, desert combo, whatever ..cheap good, no pretensions, great for all ages (likely a kids first chocolat crepe is never going to be cheaper than at a hypermarche cafe) ...long journey bribery & corruption. ..beats a costco hot-dog, hands down!
Well, as you now seem to be specialist Gastronautical Journalists, I had better extend an invitation to the World Pasty Championship, held every year at the Eden Project here in Cornwall. After all, we need coverage by, er 'experienced' journalists like yourselves.
I’ve downed a few pasties in my time!
As always an interesting vid but did you have to eat that food on a smelly waste bin...and stand by the bins .
I wanted the festival in the background but Mr Boo agrees with you!
