I'll have to do this again. Last time I didn't pass the GPU through (laptop with Intel smart switching for gpus) I'm going to try it again. Sounds like a fun project. Macos is unusablely slow for me without a GPU. Proxmox scripts is a free list of 100+ scripts for a ton of things.
We are still working on a fix for iCloud, iMessage etc. for Sonoma and sequoia. In the meantime Ventura is rock solid stable for iMessage with the correct EFI.
It really is, it wasn’t a decision we wanted to make but due to the cost of living in the United Kingdom, web hosting prices and overall community support offerings we had no choice.
You can also look at it this way... These guys put in a ton of hours doing this for the community to make things as streamlined and easy as possible. You have to ask yourself....Would you give up that much of your life and give it all away for free?

Do beware we do not support laptops and they may not function as intended but please be sure to post your results in discord.
Does iCloud work with this method in sequoia? I couldn’t get my new contacts to sync when i did the install…is there a trick you recommend

can sonoma be upgraded to sequoia in proxmox?
Of course! Be sure to create a snapshot/backup beforehand though!
If iCloud is not working makes this unusable for development support.
No iCloud support at the moment, if you need stability and iCloud, go with Ventura. Also included in our script!
