I don't understand why you are stating that the video is no longer useful. I have finally able to make the gpu-passthrough with this guide. Though I had to pause the video whenever needed and write the commands by myself which was very annoying. The web site is working but seems its purpose now is to capture people for consultation. I am a homelab user and just experimenting this. Part of me says to dislike the video but other part of me says the otherwise since you helped me. Hope you will reconsider your decisions for helping people who use this open-source software for personal use.

Is there any functionality with iGPUs yet? I don't necessarily need video output, just graphics acceleration. Would be fine with ventura too.

this is awesome! thank you for creating all of these videos! Can we use the iGPU from an Intel NUC (6th gen, Skylake) to do passthrough and allow hardware acceleration? I believe Big Sur works natively with it, but wondering if your paid solution does as well. I was not able to properly get the iGPU, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and so on passed and things like Maps only show a black screen.

Thank you for the tutorial. I am confused though... so if the main display the VM takes is not the UHD 640 (as shown in the "About This Mac" window), what's the point of passing it through? I was able to do something similar with different steps but also get the "Graphics Display 3MB" and apps like Maps or FindMy have the black screen.

I'll have to do this again. Last time I didn't pass the GPU through (laptop with Intel smart switching for gpus) I'm going to try it again. Sounds like a fun project. Macos is unusablely slow for me without a GPU. Proxmox scripts is a free list of 100+ scripts for a ton of things.

I did able to passthrough the iGPU HD4600 and loaded kext for it, along with the qemu video VGA module, but it seem like only using the VGA module cause it to be lagging and unusable, do you know how to fix that?

Hi, After upgrading my Sonoma vm to Sequoia, I noticed that several apple id services are no longer available in the macos Sequoia version of the vm! Macos Sequoia VM runs on hypervisor 1 virtual machines, now the system identifies as running on virtual platform. Is there any hack to trick the operating system?
