I think the larger than life theming at the all stars is why kids love it so much. We've always stayed at the music or movies for nostalgic reasons and also because we really weren't in the rooms or enjoyed the pools to justify price for deluxe or moderate resorts. This is when the kids were smaller. We have a son who is 22, a daughter that is 17, and our 4 year old. With that said, the hubs and I will be staying at Saratoga Springs on rented points and plan on having a slow paced trip. Since we've been going for about 11 years now. We'll see if our little one will enjoy it and possibly buy DVC if we enjoy this trip coming up. By the way, the guisado looked delicious. Never really ate at the food courts either. I think we ordered a pizza for room service twice but that's about it. I'm not sure they offer room service anymore? hmmm, can't remember. Anyways, I'm rambling now. lol A big hello to Keri!

Enjoy Saratoga! We love it there! Can't beat the convenience to Disney Springs! DVC was one of the best things we've ever done. We own at the Poly and did our math. Since we bought DVC and assuming we use all our points each year (I don't think that will be a problem! ha!) for the full 47 years, the cost per night is $200. That's cheaper than a Best Western! ha. Enjoy your trip coming up!
