Hear me out. So resident evil 5 and 6. But in the remake universe. More horror, less cheesy 80's action stuff, but it is still there. Like Resident evil 4 remake, the remake needed a bit more camp but that only works for Leon. They need Horror to 11 and action being a bit less. No boulder punch unless it's a reference and someone pulls them before they get crushed and now they have horrible aim for a bit. 😂😂😂
I think resident Evil 1 and resident evil 0 need to be remade. Code Veronica is a good game no doubt but I don't think it's as integral to the story as those two for people that just jumped into the series with the RE2 remake. RE5 doesn't need to be remade because 5 still holds up pretty well and 6..... well, we can just pretend that didn't happen

RE5!! Loved the split screen coop. It was the last major good old "sofa sharing" game I played with my friends before things started to change. Completed it about 8 times with 3 of my friends and my sister as well

Since James Gunn wants the voice actors to also act in the live action stuff, Jensen Ackles would be a perfect fit for the new DCU. Also really like whoever did the voice for Batman in Gotham by Gaslight.
I hope so! Code Veronica is the only RE I beat with "no save." Most hardcore gaming achivement ever :D You get the single free save in the middle where you change discs did take me 3 tries to do the 2nd half but finally got it. Yeah 10th grade!

Code Veronica no question! Code Veronica should have been RE3. RE3 was basically Jill's scenario of RE2 and as much as it was enjoyable at the time it wasn't what Code Veronica was which was it's own game
Love the Batman voice discussion, I really think Pattinson was itching at something new. He sorta kept the low groggy tone but those scenes with Gordon and in the 3rd act sorta go into the more “infinitely thinking” concept you brought up.

Code Veronica HAS to be the next RE remake before ever thinking of doing 5 tbh. The story is so integral, and they already have their Claire model from RE2 remake! Leon got his solo game, Claire needs her shine again, and seeing pre village Chris too would be awesome! After CV, i’d honestly love RE 0 remake so they get a chance to fix up that game

And because they already set the precedent of major release, gaiden release, numbered entry release, with RE2R, RE3R, RE8, RE4R? It makes perfect sense because the remake king and queen are now Leon and Claire. We've seen Leon's origin and his growth, so it's only natural to get a "meanwhile, in Claire's timeline" to follow that up.

Doom 2016, perhaps. Prior to launch, there were a bunch of negative previews for the game in its beta, but after it launched it arguably ended up being one of the best FPS games of all time.
Capcom should definitely do a Resident Evil Code Veronica remake, it would be criminal of them not to. I mean look how successful all of the other remakes have been. Resident Evil has a huge fanbase and they’d love all of the franchise being remade if they’re up to the great standard that the other games have been.

Like many have already stated I think Code Veronica is in dire need of a remake I think. That game could benefit immensely from better character building and a more modern voice acting. The story there is already really good imo, its just the way most of the characters come across is cringe worthy. A few of the sad parts are more comical thanks to the horrendous voice acting.

I think Rino Romano (The Batman animated series) is someone who can convince you he's Batman and not have the deep intimidating Batman voice while being intimidating, and ALSO convince you he's Spider-Man too cause he also voiced Spidey. He would be my 2nd best pick for Batman
Who's your favourite video game composer? For me It's without a doubt Jesper Kyd. His music is just so unique and always stands out. I personally consider his Freedom Fighters soundtrack along with Assassins Creed 2 and Hitman Contracts his best work yet. Nobuo Uematsu is pretty good too

RE: OUTBREAK needs a remake honestly. 10 different levels based around 8 characters all with their own pros & cons in a 3-4 player co op mode would be sick. The replayability would be there (again those games had 8 playable characters) and different endings for each scenario and how they played out depending on those characters. If they can recreate the same levels from Vol 1 & 2, they can easily impliment more levels as paid DLC as well as more unlockable characters and skins. just my 2 cents, as I still revisit this game constantly on PCSX2 and you can even find servers to play on

Code veronica should actually go first because they could tie chris and wesker's storyline to a resident evil 5 remake. Since their in both games. So I'd think their storyline would match up in that order.
Code Veronica was the best game of that era! I’d love a Remake after seeing the recent Remakes from the series. I think the developers know they can’t play around with Code Veronica. It probably has the biggest cult following out of all the Biohazard/RE games.

Seeing how a lot of newer RE fans have gotten into the series by playing these remakes and RE7&8, I think a Code Veronica remake would be beneficial.
Younger fans need to take off their diapers and play the classics before they play the remakes. 🤣
Like many have already stated I think Code Veronica is in dire need of a remake I think. That game could benefit immensely from better character building and a more modern voice acting. The story there is already really good imo, its just the way most of the characters come across is cringe worthy. A few of the sad parts are more comical thanks to the horrendous voice acting.

The next resident evil remake should definetely be Resident Evil Code Veronica because it's a follow-up for Claire like the Resident Evil 4 was follow-up for Leon. Makes sense in my opinion.🙂
I think Rino Romano (The Batman animated series) is someone who can convince you he's Batman and not have the deep intimidating Batman voice while being intimidating, and ALSO convince you he's Spider-Man too cause he also voiced Spidey. He would be my 2nd best pick for Batman

Who's your favourite video game composer? For me It's without a doubt Jesper Kyd. His music is just so unique and always stands out. I personally consider his Freedom Fighters soundtrack along with Assassins Creed 2 and Hitman Contracts his best work yet. Nobuo Uematsu is pretty good too

RE: OUTBREAK needs a remake honestly. 10 different levels based around 8 characters all with their own pros & cons in a 3-4 player co op mode would be sick. The replayability would be there (again those games had 8 playable characters) and different endings for each scenario and how they played out depending on those characters. If they can recreate the same levels from Vol 1 & 2, they can easily impliment more levels as paid DLC as well as more unlockable characters and skins. just my 2 cents, as I still revisit this game constantly on PCSX2 and you can even find servers to play on
