- After many emails asking me this question, I decided to make a video about how much it cost to live in Calabria. Obviously these are averages and you could go more extravagant or cheaper. Let me know if you have any other questions in the comments below! Ciao

PRAYER can help with everything including finding a job. In a situation like Calabria where there is not alot of work PRAY for more work to be available for everyone. Some issues need alot of prayer.

Calabria is so affordable! And to live on the best beaches. Priceless!
Before buying my property, I looked into rentals and found some 2 tear price alternatives for renting. I though that the low price during the low season more than made up for the increased during the summer. I have to many dogs (babies) so I opted for buying instead, mostly because I need a private garden. Lilly and Angelo, thank you again for making the buying process stressless.

Just discovers your channel. Live in Chicago but visit Calabria. My father built a house in Palermiti and just visited and stayed in Palermiti from July 30-August 10. We love Soverato and Montepeone beaches. Can’t wait to come back next August. Growing up I would go every summer. Now I take my kids which are 17 and 15.

Great video. 2000€ a week in the summer ?! Absurd but I’m not surprised because Calabria is a hot spot (pun intended) in the summer and probably where a lot of people make their annual money.
Definitely do a video on healthcare in Calabria as I’d love to watch that as well as making money online. That’s my ultimate dream and I push a lot of my subscribers to do so if they want to move to Italy
Yeah I pay 8€ a month and 27€ for fibra ottica. Internet prices are great all over Italy.
Yes those two months Calabria becomes like Miami Beach and prices go through the roof! They make their money for the year and live off of that until next summer. I’d love to see Calabria extend their tourist season from may through September. But you know calabrians love not working haha. So happy you are back in Bella Italy!!

@@singingcapecod yes yes yes. It’s not the Castro in San Fran and discretion is advised but I know many happy gay couples living here. And yes there are many Americans here and if you can speak a little Italian you’ll be accepted into the club lol

My ex and I almost bought a newer sea view home in Zambrone. The bank in Milan wouldn't give us the full financing we needed. I will always think about that little villa and view down to the beach and the memories our family could have made there. 😢
Yes hate to get financing here if you aren’t italian
in summer u could rent in cerrisi, soveria, or decollatura its where my family is from, rent is so cheap, its cooler in summer. La Sila is really close if its gets too hot. u can go to the beach monte paone , soverato, Pietra grande everyday if u want to. half hour to get there
if u want to take the train these is a train that takes u to Catanzaro (we did this) it was fun. then take a small train(funicolare) takes u on the beach catanzaro Lido.

What if someone bought a house in Calabria so now that means no house payment no rent how much would it cost per year for expenses to live for example food the utilities for house phone internet roughly how much also gas for car driving very little and eating twice a day roughly estimate my calculations are about $6,000- $7,000 per year that’s living a non extravagant lifestyle

One video I saw said there's a problem with trash piling up in Calabria, not sure if that's true.
Yes Italy has some issues with that but it depends on what city. Where I live no but I have seen horror stories in rome and Naples

The closing cost are 4-5% agency fee, 6-7% notary fee so around 50k. Tax depends on if it’s considered luxury or not. Email us if you need help calabriadreaming@gmail.com

I have so many questions: do apartments come with utilities and internet? All in? Or do we have to hook all that up when we get there? Also: what if we don’t have a vehicle- what’s the best place to stay as I heard transportation around Calabria is cumbersome
Depends on the apartment. Most short terms include utilities but long term contracts do not. In those cases you must set everything up in your name just like in the rest of the world. You can easily live in a village and not need a car. I suggest soverato or Reggio Calabria areas but that’s something you really should check out before making a decision.
My name is Gary Donvto my family comes from Calabria Italy and I'm longing to go back there to reunite with my family I am never been to Italy so I'm going to need some help I am 65 years old and have some limited disability walking which could be a challenge for me but I'm up for the challenge.
My father Donvito comes from Naples
My mother Geritado comes from Calabria
If the finances work out correctly I would like to live there for a year I'm applying for dual citizenship since I am the second generation to live in the USA
And if this is possible I would like to live there until my passing.
But the main purpose for me going out there besides finding out where I came from I would love to find a beautiful Italian woman to complete me , there is nothing better than a good Italian woman.
So please help me find The Way to live Out There it does not have to be Fancy by no means but has to have a good community ext.

So not that long ago. Our surname is Faiello. I am wondering if you've heard the same or know anybody with this last name?
Yes the last name is spelled it differently, with an i and the email but the family last name is spelled with an o at the end

I am European, hence I know the universal healthcare isn't the fastest. Still, urgent care, dental might come really useful. Except public any good private healthcare options? Thanks
