Thank you for this. My family was from here back to the 1700s at minimum. I have the DNA proof. My great grandma came go the US in late 1800s. She brought her kids back many times to visit family but nobody left will remember us now. It will be exciting to walk these streets of my ancestors. I’ll be the crazy crying American lol. I look like that side too.

You don't mention any drugging or mugging of tourists? Apparently spiking food and drinks is common there. My dad was in Goiosia, Calabria his hometown this past summer and was drugged and robbed and landed in the awful third world hospital in Locri and didn't come out alive. I would beg to differ and say Calabria is not safe. And if you land in a hospital for whatever reason you are not coming out alive.
