Thx bud. Buttons are faded. FYI...anyone with stuck cds/ dead player...I figured a way to remove them. Pulled the deck....disconnected connector...took top off to access cds. R plugged cable, entered code...cd stacker cycled and reset all the discs. Pushed eject on each one....my deck is broken because the transport arm doesn’t push the cd thru the slot to the outside...hence going inside...eject discs in numerical order.

I imagine Honda had a couple of models for 2004 (single CD, maybe one with just cassette or radio only) but hopefully they had similar programming functions. Let me know how it works for your radio.

I have a 2004 crv with a stock Honda radio. I goes on and off. Most of the time it is off. Any idea what it could be? Btw I have tall antenna.
