basically succesful people are more decisive and follow through with their decisions.. this makes sense and is not big news! Unsuccesful people go with the flow and don't follow up with the few decisions they take.. basically!
Taking emotions out of decisions is one key to success.
*If you hesitate* - they will doubt your authority
When you come to a conclusion, go all in!
Thinking of switching schools and moving out my moms house to my dads , I don’t really know what to do but time Can only tell
1. Game theory
Ask: if i take action what are the consequences and how do i respond and reaction
Prisoner dilemma
2. Worst case scenario
3. The decision doest match your values and principles
4. Go get great consul
Person should be neutral, reasonable and not emotional on topic
5. What are your alternatives
6. Decision fatigue
Never make massive decision when you are fatigue
7. Stick with your decision
Big decision have slow process but fast movement

Lessons:
1. Game Theory - The prisoner's dilemma. Think of the consequences of the decision and how you respond to them.
2. Worst Case Scenario Analysis - Can you live with the worst outcome of the decision.
3. Value and Principles - Analyse if the decision aligns with your life values and principles.
4. Get Great (Objective, experienced, reasonable & unbiased) Counsel.
5. Consider your Alternative(s).
6. Decision Fatigue - Avoid making big decisions when fatigued! Sleep on it if you can.
7. Stick with your decision - Once you've made your decision, stick to it!

I think this was said in here, but I heard once said from a military guy as it pertained to leadership saying, “your not a bad leader because you made a bad decision; your a bad leader because you made no decision.”
That stuck with me.
1. Game theory
- beautiful mind(movie)
- making decisions where the biggest odds are in our favour
(prisoner's Dilema!)
2. Worst case scenario
- accept and move on
3. If the decision does not meet my values and principles.
- Move on!
5. Get great cousel
- neutral and reasonable
-not biased in some way
6. Don't walk back on your decision.
- once you make the decision, abide by it
- if fatiguéd sleep on it.

3:29 - Consider the worst-case scenario and ask yourself if you can live with it before making a tough decision.

Brilliant video, I have started to use this across my business decision and I feel better. Especially with the final point of stick with your decision and do not dwell on mistakes because it does make you feel like utter shit, learn from mistakes do not dwell on them.

Thanks so much. Perfect timing. I have a job interview Friday with a group that definitely matches my principles and values. However, I can’t put the cart in front of the horse. I’m hoping it feels right as well.
What works for me in terms of having an alternative is to write down the pros and cons of the decision. It's called the Benjamin Franklin method of making decisions. If the pros is greater than the cons then I will execute it. If the cons are greater then I will pass. Ofcourse it works the best by taking in everything what Patrick said. :)
