I am a Veteran and hopefully will rest with my fellow Vets in the nearby National Cemetery. We are all equal there. From privates to Colonels we all will have a flat metal marker. In this Cemetery with Brother Lamont, you can see the obvious. People competing to reign over their fellow man with the most grandiose headstone indicating a grandiose ego and soul. It would be on honor for me to humbly take my place exactly like my fellow vets.
I don't believe 'grandiose' has anything to do with it. Most people pick a headstone at a time when they are bereaved and so they may feel a need to demonstrate how big of a void the loss of a family member may be. I honestly don't think anyone ever considers what the headstone of the neighbouring graves may look like. Indeed, when my late brother was dying of cancer in 2021 he designed his own headstone. It was a stone cut into two pieces with a cross design cut out of it. In the UK if you get buried in a church grave yard there might be strict rules about the overall height and design of a headstone. The one my brother designed wasn't allowed. So, we made do with something near to what he wanted. Even in death, they were still making rules. To be honest, at the funeral, non of the graves beside his had any head-stones to compare with as they don't usually place the headstone for a year after buriel to allow the ground to settle. Eventually the larger stones will be laid flat because like with everything else, time catches up to them and gravity takes over. They may then be regarded as a danger to the public. That happens here all the time in old graveyards.
Ryan's story is heart breaking. You speak the truth about mental illness. So very very sad. So many young children with their entire lives ahead of them...lives cut short.
Either mental illness is frequently overlooked or people deny it's there. Just like coronavirus. People deny COVID 19 is out there and consequently reopen their cities and states too soon. Well HELLO!
Hi Lamont ! If you’re still in Southern California please check out the park lawn cemetery in Bell Gardens. It’s a cemetery my grandma used to go to visit her friends grave and took us with her when we were kids. It’s on gage avenue on the border of commerce and bell gardens.

I haven’t been there in years but remember seeing very old graves with the decedents photos on the stones. It’s in a weird semi industrial area. If you look it up online it says it’s in commerce CA. It’s on gage avenue on the border of commerce and bell gardens.
You are truly amazing . Thank you for your insight and wisdom, and thank you for sharing their stories 💙
Refreshing to see such a diverse mix, of different ethnics all resting in one place.
The common denominator is our catholic faith. It’s a catholic cemetery.

Rest in peace to these sweet souls. Beautiful headstones.
The Holy Cemetery is a catholic cemetery. My youngest brother was interred at this Cemetery. Thanks a lot for the coverage, Lamont. So glad to know that you are finding/making the precious time, a way to remember our beloved dead.
I feel the same about the masks, but if you want to go certain places... I feel hand washing and keeping distance is more important

Does anyone else notice the small shadow at Ryans grave when Lamont is talking about stopping kids from senseless killing? 11:33. It passes by his photo in the center.

Hello Deborah, hope you’re having a good day?
Awesome video sir... love your content & your knowledge for these people is amazing. And I agree... a man loses his life over 40$ is unbelievable and very upsetting.
A view from the UK. Lamont, with regard to young Ryan, your anger comes straight out of my speaker and i think we are all with you. As our representative at these cemeteries your response is exactly what all of us - except 178 thumb downers - feel. Well done buddy.
One that stood out the young man who was killed at the 7-11 store, for $40, thank you for bringing this up again, and if anyone is out there with information please call San Diego police dept, let's put his death to rest with a capture of those hoodlums who killed him. Thank you Lamont At Large for the way you handle this case.
Ryan touched your heart. God Bless you
