    [comment repost]
In April 1987 a group of friends and I went to see Wayland Flowers (and Madame) at Studio One Back-lot in West Hollywood. It was his last booked cabaret appearance on the west coast I believe before he died of AIDS complications the next year.
One of my friends knew him and we went to Wayland's apartment after the show. My friends were ragtime pianists and we sat in the living room with Wayland bringing out the various puppets and riffing to the music.
Then there was a knock on the door. I got up and answered it and it was an older gentleman with a characteristic scarf.
    It was Charles Pierce.
I had no idea who he was (I was only 21). I then found out the next day at work about his career. I had no idea the night before.
Now only one of the group and I remain, the rest are part of the ages.
I miss the 80s...and my friends, and a little brush with celebrity.
Search YT for "The Charles Pierce Show (Uncensored)" to see Charles's talent, and "Madame In Manhattan" for Wayland's. Have a ball witnessing real cabaret skills.

Repeating myself from yesterday’s uploaded episode, Outstanding! Outstanding! Outstanding! I was listening to something on the radio and saw the notification. Had to stop listening and tune in to Arthur!
Rita Shawl: She was on my favorite episode of The Andy Griffith Show. She and 2 other ladies played escaped convicts who kidnap Barney Fife and Floyd the barber. Lots of “tension” in this very adult, yet very funny episode!
Charles Pierce: Remember him from 1970s talk show appearances!
Buck Henry: Get Smart, The Graduate, Heaven Can Wait and SNL are where I would see him or his name in the credits.
Vesta: In an office I worked in over 30 years ago, the women would play that song of hers, “Congratulations!”
Boris Sagal: I remember when he died. That was such a freak accident! I knew he was Katey’s father.
Christopher Lloyd Dennis: I remember him being shown during live shots outside the Jimmy Kimmel Live studios or on eXtra and Entertainment Tonight that featured him.
Brock Peters: Wrongfully accused Tom in To Kill A Mockingbird was his best.
Ernie Anderson: For years I wondered whose voice that was introducing ABC shows FOREVER. When ABC did their anniversary show in the 1970s he would be there!
Ray Collins: Lieutenant Arthur Tragg. He brought humor to Perry Mason. “Well, fancy seeing you here, Counselor! Then Paul Drake would show up and he would say; “I knew you wouldn’t be far behind” or he would say; “You two are like bookends” or some other quip!
Steve Allen & Jayne Meadows: Separately or together they were fixtures on 1960s and 70s television. I miss Steve’s 1960s late night talk show that aired after Carson’s. Funny and serious topics. Nothing like the mindless/talk/gossip shows of today!
John Singleton: He directed a lot of television episodes as well.
Ralph Bellamy: Best role was one of the much hated Wall Street financial brothers along with Don Ameche in Trading Places.
Fred Willard: The “Ed McMahon-esk” sidekick on Fernwood Tonight and he was the dispatcher in Silver Streak who was calm and cool until the crash into Union Station!
Fred Berry: He was one of The Lockers dance group.
Another stellar installment. Thank you Arthur for the outstanding service you perform in showcasing the people we grew up watching!

Whats amazing is most of these Actors have all played on the same TV Sitcoms. Sometimes as main characters or just making special appearances. R.Rey played as the Mailman on 227 along with P. Winfield played as the Landlord. P.Winfield also played an episode on Family Matters as Rachel & Harriet's biological father. F.Willard also played on Family Matters as a Stressed out Vice Principal that had to deal with Steve...lol and of course Naya as Richie's girlfriend.

Michelle Nicastro. Beautiful actress. Terrible tragedy that she died so young. She guest starred in Knight Rider Season 3 episode Circus Knights episode in her 20's.
Interesting coincidence with Lance Legault and William Lucking - both made repeat appearances in their respective TV series. Lance Legault was one of the guest star villains for Knight Of The Phoenix parts I and II, as well as playing a different character in the second season Knight Rider episode Knight In Shining Armor. Lance Legault was also the villain in both Airwolf episodes "Sweet Britches" (as the corrupt sheriff, this was also the episode that introduced the female lead Jean Bruce Scott as Caitlin O'Shaughnessy as a regular cast member of Airwolf in Season 2 and Season 3) and "To Snare a Wolf" (as the government official obsessed with capturing or destroying Airwolf and trapping Stringfellow Hawke). But my favorite connection between Lance Legault and William Lucking is that both actors featured in this episode portrayed respective pursuers of the A-Team in multiple episodes. Glen Larson once commented that Lance Legault's distinctive voice had "two octaves lower than God's." You can't ask for a more compelling reference than that. Lance Legault also appeared in various episodes of both Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers In The 25th century, both also not coincidentally directed by Glen A Larson. Nothing like getting repeat work from the same director for a vote of confidence on your work. Lance Legault was another favorite actor of mine from this period in television.

Loved this latest chapter in the series. I can tie a memory to almost everyone in this production. Fred 'Rerun" Berry was one of my favorites. As a fellow audio and video producer, Hats off to the Hollywood Graveyard production team! Great work!

Arthur you , in my opinion, are the best of all the graveyard remembrance shows. No one and I mean no one is even close to your talent and presentation. Your knowledge of your subjects is uncanny. Thank you Arthur. Oh and your handsome face is a plus too.
