What do you do when the US government takes away your BASE jumping spots and makes them illegal? Make some new ones...
The sport of wingsuiting in the US is 'an endangered' one, where despite there being hundreds of amazing National Parks and jump spots, there are fewer and fewer legal spots to BASE jump.
This video series is about the revolution that wingsuit BASE jumping is going through in the USA. Advances in wingsuit design, technique, and pilot skill open the doors to possibility and open up the areas where jumping is possible.
In the beginning jumpers required massive overhanging cliffs and room to fly away. Now, all that is needed is a small crag atop a big hill. Join pilots Charley Kurlinkus, Sean Leary and Jeff Shapiro in their quest to find and establish new wingsuit BASE jumps across North America.

Always seeing these rip's when I come back to wingsuit flying videos , maybe I should re evaluate my desire to do this
lol just stick to air planes and helicopters .this mountains and cliffs are no joke. its mostly because ppl want to glide so low(because they choose to) .if you stay 50 yards high youll be safe.

Too all the nay-sayers making comments about 'maybe you shouldn't do this'.. 'too dangerous...." etc.. You know what the difference is between most of you and the people who push this extreme sport and many others?? Your life is lethargic enough that you have time (or maybe it is your only option) to sit back and judge / comment from whatever little nest in life you have created. They're living life.. You should try it.. Try something other than being lil 'reality TV' commentators..
Challenge of the day: Find a video of a wing-suit flight that has no backward pointing camera shots, no from the ground footage, no shots with other flyers in frame and no musical overlay. Just straight ahead awesome video.
