Why “C” Students Are More Successful Than “A” Students

  • How to be More Successful. We all try to get good grades to later get a well-paid job and succeed in life. Most people including our parents believe it is a direct toad to success. However, according to Robert Kiyosaki, author of Why ‘A’ Students Work for ‘C’ Students and ‘B’ Students Work for the Government, it’s actually the other way around. It’s “A” students that end up being employed by “C” students. We found 8 reasons why “C” students are often more successful in life. Now that’s some food for thought if you want to transform your own life or give good advice to your kids.
    TIMESTAMPS
“C” students question the significance of the academic system. 1:30
They’re not afraid to fail or get bad grades. 2:37
“C” students are risk takers. 3:39
    They’re not submissive followers. 4:45
“C” students have people skills. 5:34
They find simpler ways to get things done. 6:30
    “C” students are dreamers. 7:16
They have their own definition of success. 7:53
    Music:
    www.youtube.co...
    SUMMARY
-“C” students are more interested in a straightforward approach and unfortunately for them, academia doesn’t offer that. They hack their way into the system by taking on odd jobs or learning outside of school.
-While “A” students aim for perfection on their first try, “C” students aren’t afraid to fail, even several times! They embrace their shortcomings and learn from them.
-“C” students, who received their fair share of “Fs” in their academic life, aren’t afraid to leap into the unknown. They take calculated risks to figure out what they really want in life.
-“C” students tend to question everything. They’re not the “Yes” group; they’re more like the “Yes, but…” team.
-Besides experimenting in the work force, “C” students also devote themselves to building networks that can benefit them in the long run when they enter the real world.
-“C” students don’t wanna put much energy into accomplishing a task, they’d rather be investing their time and effort in pursuing their dream.
-“C” students are more interested in thinking about what they wanna do in life rather than being stuck in the four walls of a classroom.
-“C” students decide what they want done, and “A” students are good at taking and follow these instructions.

Since you're a teacher, I have a question if you don't mind me asking. So, I just got like a mark back for smthn and in the rubric, there is a part that said not more than 2 punctuation mistakes and not more than 2 grammar mistakes and I got a d on both of those in the rubric because I had more than 2 mistakes. My teacher said the project was for my media literacy mark. Will those 2 d's affect my report card mark by a lot? I usually get a's in stuff like this. I've just been stressed about it recently.

    • @perfectsplit5515

@@hmmnotsure I cannot tell you the extent to which those 2 d's will affect your report card mark. I am not your teacher.
Perhaps you are getting a grade which is unusual for you because you have a new teacher and you are not used to his grading style.
I will tell you that 5 years from now, you are not going to care about that grade. When you have finished your first real job and are looking for your next job after that, employers will not care about what grades you got in school.
At best, grades are simply feedback on what areas you need to improve. They should not be held in any higher regard than that.

It's nice to bring this up. Brightside's saying that if you're a C student, you will automatically be an A student's boss. That is a lie. C students can be focusing on other things outside of school, like you, which benefit them; others just bs their way from term/semester to term/semester. Some A students realise the flaws in school and exploit them, others invest a great deal of time and effort into subjects they love which happen to be covered by the curriculum. The video is either one designed to make kids feel good, which I can appreciate but is still a big step in the wrong direction given the chance they could just go to the lazy, coasting side, or its an attempt to boost the ego of a Brightside team member.

Honestly speaking most are the first type lol. Getting A in school really isn’t hard especially if you have CP, I mean all you need to do is focus on class, sure you may have other things you want to pursue but school doesn’t really use your outside time(unless homeworks, which depends on where you live).
Personally speaking, Elementry school (1-6) should start with introducing all these new topics and stuff instead of read a book, and take a nap xD.
Then when they go to junior high (7-8) they learn some more things.
First 2years or so of HS, they learn even more. And then in the 2 other years, they should be free to choose their own topic by that point unless they still wanna study general things, so they get more ideas and whatnot. Or if someone find what they wanna do earlier, school let’s them pursue that subject and other subjects as well, but not as much as you would need to in general.
But meh, it’ll never happen xD, they make profit off grades so...

If you are a straight "A" student don't let this stup- *coughs* VIDEO bring your confidence down. It doesn't matter if you are an "A" student or a "C" student. Just try your best at anything you do. Your future is in YOUR hands and not in what someone tells you. It really depends on your mentality, personality and in what YOU want to do with your life. Don't let someone tell you what your future will be like because they can't control you! Follow your own path and create your own story. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE VIDEO!!! They clearly only know 1 type of "C" students and "A" students.

    Tips to have higher grades:
    1. Don't try your best in the first grading, improve your grades low to high.
    2. The Attitude is more important than Knowledge, even thought if you have high grades but you have bad attitude you will fail.
    3. Don't give up like C students, they made mistakes but they're still not giving up.

    • @nighthawk8046
      @nighthawk8046 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Kade Lishbrook there is no fault in being an A student if you are one but realize this; you have a statistically higher probability of being brainwashed by the entire school system (US primarily, others places around the world like Finland have far superior education models where there are no standardized tests or quizzes, or homework of any sort. This is why Finland has the best and brightest students. They utilize their imaginations), but if you realize what that system is doing to to you then you are far better off. Now if you did not realize that the US education system is just a way for companies to profit and to provide meager education to kids while stifling creativity, then it is to no fault of your own. There is one rule among all others; do what you love. If you love your profession stick with it. You can also work on projects and companies on the side, no one sets that limit for you

I was an F student (35%-50%) Gpa 1.00) for most of the school year this began in 4th grade and dragged on to my senior year of high school, mainly because I hated and never did homework/classwork. It wasn't up until the last few months of the semester that I would try to raise my grade to a D and if I was lucky a C+, I did not graduate with the class though I did receive my diploma attending summer school (retake economics) those wondering. lived my life for 2 years and realized I wanted to go to college so I applied to a local community and spent 2years working on prerequisite classes I hated myself for not paying attention in math class as the burden of not knowing basic equations made it very difficult, I had to start at 5th-grade level math and work my way up. I graduated and was accepted into a 4 year now in my second year studying mechanical engineering with hopes of venturing off to the space industry. I wouldn't say I'm successful but definitely a turn around comparable to success, it's important to know what you're capable of and be willing to work hard to achieve it.

I am testament of this video. I dropped out of traditional high school in 10th grade. I then enrolled and completed a GED program. After completing the GED program, I started working various jobs, as I simultaneously searched for my passion. Eventually, I found my passion and enrolled in college. I graduated from college with honors (only because it supported the passion I discovered, which entails empowering others toward success) in both my undergraduate and graduate studies. The key to success is discovering your PASSION. Once you discover your passion, success will become a reality by default❤️

In some cases even C students graduate and get a job , they're saying in most cases entrepreneurs are the C students
I can relate in my life , I have friends who didn't even graduate from high school but doing very well in life , they're driving cars I dream of , but I still don't own a car , and I'm a B student

    • @solidcoal8131
      @solidcoal8131 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes you can
      if you have 1 + x = 2
      then you can switch x with the 2 causing to have 2 - 1 = x
and seeing how this is addition and subtracting
this can be used to find jobs
      this also means if you have more complex problems like (3x + 5 - 2) + 3 =x6
you can switch it up to have a regular equation
