The best way to maximize space without sacrificing too much aesthetic, is to have more stacks like your ACOTAR series! Stacked on top of each other rather than side by side. Great video Emmy!

I also have the IKEA billy bookshelves, and mine aren't screwed into the wall bc we had just painted when I got them and I didn't want to make any holes lol. And mine are yet to fall or even wobble in the slightest or anything like that, so when you get to a point where you have too many stacks on the floor I'd say it's worth thinking about getting another shelf even if you cant screw it into the wall! Also, when new books come out for authors on your romance shelf, I'd say maybe put Ali Hazelwood's books in a stack so that you have more room across. Your shelves are absolutely stunning! 🫶

And you’ve read so many amazing series that I want to get to. I just finished the Daughter of the Pirate King and Belladonna so I’m trying to catch up lol. Still dying to read Shatter Me, This Woven Kingdom, From Blood and Ash, Book of Azreal, and An Ember in the Flames.

Note: There is also a character guided book that also has short stories from a beloved character in the blood and ash series and that is called visions of flesh and blood. The flesh and fire series is complete now with the last book being born of blood and ash. But the next book in the blood and ash series is coming out summer of 2025. I would look at Good Reads for the exact date.

You can use the space on top of the shelves as an extra shelf or get the extension shelf too if it’ll fit
