Just like you, ACOTAR and TOG changed my reading life and revived it this year!!❤ so happy to see we have so many 5 star favorites. I’m going to check out Metal Slinger now
I love your book recos sooo much and I'm glad to have found a booktuber who loves ACOTAR and TOG like me 💛 I love your vids too.. Please continue making more book/vlog vids.. Happy holidays from PH 🇵🇭
Ooo no, I bloody hate cliffhangers. That's why I stopped The Fourth Wing and The Blood and Ash series - look dragged out those became. I had the pleasure of enjoying ToG with the entire series on my hands. That's even magical.
I’d be looking at YA romances, closed door romances (which means no steamy scenes on page) or authors who write very minimal spice! Authors Lynn Painter (for her YA books), Emily Henry & Abby Jimenez. I’ve not read too many romance books so I don’t have that many recommendations but I know Sarah Adam’s is a popular romance author who writes closed door romances!
Oh no that’s an editing error I must have used the wrong file 😭 at least it’s only 1 clip 🥲 not worth removing the entire video for a re upload but it was a different coloured pod 💔 good spot, I don’t know how I missed that!!
I have read Red Queen! I would say a plot summary in a couple sentences they sound the same but reading them both they were VERY different. I think Victoria Aveyard paved the way and created a whole new subgenre of fantasy books with Red Queen and can see how she has inspired so many books but I don't think Powerless or Red Queen read similarly at all. Powerless is more of a romance set in a fantasy world, heavily character and dialogue focused. Red Queen is definitely more fantasy, dystopian rebellion with a sub plot of romance but plot focused. I could see where inspiration was taken but they both read like completely different stories - similarly in the same way every games & trials dystopian YA book are all similar ☺
@@lilyblum i would say it's definitely a completely different vibe (just a similar general plot idea) so if you didn't like Powerless you might still love Red Queen!! It definitely reads more like a fantasy than a romantasy and has more plot to it 🥰
If you like a book it immediately goes in my tbr 😂💗 TOG is definitely a 6 star series for me too, I still think about these characters everyday 🥲❤️🔥
I picked up a lot of my favorites current reads cause of your channel. Looking forward to see what else you can make in the new year.😊

What do you recommend for someone who doesn't like a lot of steamy but really enjoy the slow burn romance?

@emmyrosam thank you. I will check these out.
You used the same advent calendar clip in the beginning as your last video?
Oh no that’s an editing error I must have used the wrong file 😭 at least it’s only 1 clip 🥲 not worth removing the entire video for a re upload but it was a different coloured pod 💔 good spot, I don’t know how I missed that!!
@ it’s cus I watched your last two videos back to back and thought huh I swear that’s the same pod I just watched😂
❤❤❤
apparently powerless is quite literally copy and pasted of the red queen series by victoria aveyard, i would love for you to read that series! :)
