I am sending a big big hug from iran to canada for you shayda. I am a self thought watercolorist. I am learning watercolor by youtube and you are my first teacher in my art journey. Watercolor helped me a lot to get rid of my anxiety and depression. It made me feel relax and hopeful. So you helped me better than a friend. Thank you so so much. Wish you lots and lots of joy and happiness. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
🥰 Shayda, I was so moved by this video!❤ As Gandalf said, 'I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil'. 😉 Your channel does make a difference in our lives, and it is us who should be grateful!! 🙏 In 2020, I started drawing and painting again because of you! 🎨Thank you for making me do it!! You will never know how much you've helped many of us through difficult, challenging and often tragic times! But we know your teachings, inspiration and warmth were always there, and we will always be here, enjoying your wonderful videos, like this one! 😍 Thank you!!! 👏 👏 👏 😘
This made me cry. You are such a wonderful and sweet person and I've loved watching you grow in your painting skills. I don't exactly remember when I first subscribed, but I loved watching the amount grow to 1 Million! My favorite video of yours is How To Paint a Floral Letter. I had made my cousins each one a few years back and they loved them! All your videos give me so much inspiration to paint and hand-letter. Thank you! May you and your family be blessed int his new season! ❤
Thank you for creating this channel..it is such an inspiration for me..i love your motto "art is not scary"..it boost my confidence so much.. congratulations🎉🎉🎉 for 1M subscribers!!!❤
My first Shayda Campbell video I ever watched is still my favorite, favorite, favorite 2020 Yearly Bujo Set Up How to Begin Bullet Journaling a Comprehensive Guide that changed my life forever...It is my go to video anytime I need to refresh or restart and get organized...It was my entry into using all the art supplies I had buried away for someday when...Now I truly have gone through everything and so grateful for the opportunity...Also, because of Shayda Campbell videos I started creating artful watercolor postcards for a volunteer program during COVID writing wellness letters for Fare Start in Seattle, Washington. Fare Start put my watercolor postcards in the lunch boxes they made for people who were in need of food and shelter. I think by the time the program ended in February 2023 I had made over 500 artful wellness letters...so fun. Anyway, thank you Shayda so grateful for all you have given me, transformed my fear into artful possibilities and pretty bullet journals of my life since 2020. Telling my story in art and pictures. Thank you with all my heart xoxo
I'm not at all surprised you have a million subscribers! Your florals and teaching style are gentle, inspiring, and make us feel like we can do it too! My favorite videos are your journaling videos. I love the themes, really love the Dutch doors, and just the simple beauty that is found in ALL of your videos. Many hugs and congratulations!
Loved seeing you reach this milestone. I have not been here since the beginning, but...started watching in 2020 during the pandemic. That being said...I have a healthy love to binge your previous videos to get ideas. My favorites are the how to doodles. One in particular is the 25 Watercolor Floral doodles when you are bored. But my second favorite is the Creating a Unique Character with Watercolor Video. I love watching all of your videos. They have gotten me through some recent issues. I started chemo February of this year after being diagnosed with NonHodgkin Lymphoma. I get a lot of joy from this Art Community on You Tube. Thank you for the efforts and consistency in putting out videos. Congratulations Shayda on your accomplishments. You have a lot to be proud of!! 🎉
Congratulations! You deserve it!❤🎨 My favorite video is your daisy tutorial. My mom loves daisies and her nickname is Daisy. I knew that taking a moment for herself would make such a difference in her life. You inspired her to relax and make it fun. Thank you for bringing light and joy into our lives!💕🌸
My fav video from you is „How to Design Your Painting | Watercolor Flowers for Beginners“. It‘s so great to see your emotional side. It makes this channel even better. Wish you the best and furthermore success ☺️
Shayda, huge congrats to you and Chris for reaching 1 million subscribers - well done!! I 'found' you at the beginning of the pandemic. I don't have a creative bone in my body but when you said 'art is fun, not scary', I believed you and I was hooked. I became a patron, bought some supplies and began. Then my Mom passed away. My Mom painted. I emptied her house and I kept a couple of the smocks she painted in. For a long time, I watched your videos - every single one - but didn't pick up a brush. Then you started painting landscapes. My Mom painted landscapes. I took out my painting supplies, donned one of my Mom's smocks, and started painting landscapes. We sing, we sob, we talk, we laugh, we sit in silence my Mom and I, as we paint landscapes. Together. You did this. Thank you.
Congratulations from Germany dear Shayda. I follow your channel for 3 years. Through you I have already learned so much and especially deepened the joy of painting and drawing. The 1 million subscribers have not been reached by chance. You and your husband, you deserve it!
Congratulations!!! You got us through covid with kindness and encouragement! I so look forward to every video and rewatch and rewatch!!! I am so excited for you and your little family and pray that we can all paint together for a long, long time!!!!
My favorite video is “Twelve Easy Flower Doodles You Need to Know.” It was the very first Shayda Campbell I ever saw. I drew those flowers and have been drawing flowers ever since.
Big congratulations on your success, but most of all a big bravo for all the hard work, the persistence, the faith, the love for art and the kindness you share with us all. Be blessed dear Shayda❤❤❤❤❤
Congratulations on 1M!! I love your channel and I'm so happy for you. This video was a great idea. I love seeing your progress and change in style. My favorite video of your is: Twelve Easy Flower Doodles You Need To Know, from 3 years ago. The reasons is because I struggle with ADD, MDD an anxiety so, while I always watch your channel, it makes it hard to actually do a tutorial. (I have a YT folder of your tutorials that I hope to try some day) This was the one of the first tutorials I did, and although it is considered "easy" it was an accomplishment for me. I was so proud of myself that I shared it on Facebook. So many friends loved it and were surprised by my drawings. When it comes up on my FB memories I feel that same sense of pride all over again. It is a keepsake saved in my sketchbook. Thank you so much for inspiring me to create, and for being such a great teacher. I'm forever grateful. Also, I really appreciate you sharing your mental health videos with us. Thank you for sharing your story, and making others feel like they are not alone. 🤗❤
My favorite video of yours is how art helped you heal from addiction, not sure of the name of the video but it was real and raw and I am sure gave hope to others ❤ much respect for you 😊
Congratulations sweet lady. I’ve been here from beginning, I was tired of acrylics and I didn’t want oil due to environmental issues, pastel never felt good on my hands and I was clueless about watercolor. But you changed all that. I’m 76 and paint every day, inspired by you. You are so real and honest. I was privileged to visit Canada last year but mostly Nova Scotia, the only thing that would have made the trip perfect would have been to see you. Now since returning I’ve taken my photos and sketches and am painting lighthouses from my trip in my perfectly imperfect way. You go girl!
Shayda, I love all your videos, but the one that stands out most to me right now is a bullet journal layout from the summer of 2020 when we were trying to work from home and everything seemed too hard. You had us draw a little self portrait with a hat and sunglasses on. I don't know, but it just brightened up my day and provided a little fun and a good way to organize the day.
Congratulations! 🎉🎉 No one deserves this more than you do! I don't know if I have one specific favorite tutorial. My favorites are the bullet journaling. I absolutely love the cutouts! A few years ago you did one with lilacs. They are one of my favorite flowers. I enjoyed that video. I've also enjoyed the bookmark tutorials. Again, I can't say which one is my fave. I liked them all. What I like most about all of your tutorials is that you approach them with confidence. Even if you make a little "oopsy", you wave it off gracefully and continue without a hitch. Your content is always fresh and engaging. You are a natural at speaking and the flow of your videos is simply flawless. No wonder you have one million subs!! Thank you for all you do and congratulations again!! 🎉🎉🤩🤩💕💕
My current favorite episode is 50 ways to fill a Sketchbook - The first page. Feeling inspired to pull out my supplies and paint with my 6 year old granddaughter. Thanks, Shayda, for being my inspiration. ❤
Congratulations on your One Million subs! I so enjoy your videos. You make it seem so easy. Making me want to draw again. My favorite video is the Floral Doodle Practice one. So simple and easy to do and make your pictures pop. Thank you and God Bless you and your family!
I liked the Real Time Watercolor Painting video of the flower bouquet from a couple of years go. I am just learning to paint and really appreciate your instructional videos. Watching in real time gives me a lot of information about the brush strokes, the color mixing and especially how you time the additions you make to each flower to shade or detail. When I am learning a new skill I often think there is only one “right” way to do a thing, like paint a leaf, make a petal, stroke the brush, etc. Your emphasis on making the art “Not scary” is starting to sink in and your style of painting is definitely helping me to loosen up a bit and get away from thinking there is only one right way to paint. Thank you so very much for sharing you talent and experience with us newbies!
Congratulations, I look forward to your videos every week. I am one of the older subscribers on your channel. I have learned so much about just having fun not being scared of the blank page. One of my favorite video was you showing felting the animals.
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 Shayda, I was feeling blessed the day I came across this amazing video called Painting Leaves with Watercolors… There was this exuberant, engaging, beautiful and very inspiring young artist I had never seen before!🥰 I watched her simplistic but very elegant ways she walked us through step by step on making the most beautiful but eloquent green leaves. She was very sincere and open with her content and even told us in the video how little it really does cost to get started watercolor painting! 🍃 Thank you for your Amazing Videos and all the Content you continue to create and share with all of us crafty souls. 🦋
Oh Shayda, what a beautiful video! My FAVORITE Shayda Campbell tutorial is “Doodling to work through my mental health struggles.” Why, because it sparked 5 new pieces for me in my sketchbook, and on watercolor paper, plus a birthday card for my wonderful husband. He loves black and white pieces. All the mental health videos have been very special for me since we are sisters in that struggle. SNIFF. Congratulations again on the one million subscribers. You so very much deserve it for all you do. Blessings to you and your family! ❤
Congratulations Shayda ! 🎉 I've learnt a lot from your channel and have found a passion for art from your tutorials . My favourite tutorial is Brush Lettering Basics , which is the video from which I started watching your tutorials 😊
Shayda, first off, congratulations on this milestone! I am happy to know that I’m (a very small) part of it! When the pandemic started your original video with these flowers was what helped me to discover watercolour! I painted it with my then 7-year old, and her Crayola watercolour set! I’ve painted and learned much more since then with the help of your wonderful videos and other amazing artists! My favorite videos of yours are the doodle videos. I love to fill a page with you. The mushrooms, autumn themes, etc. are a couple of my favorites. Thank you for creating space and opportunity for would-be artists, developing artists, creatives from all walks, and art for mental health. You👏🏼 Are 👏🏼 Appreciated 👏🏼! Continued success to you and good health and happiness to you and your family.
Oh my gosh CONGRATULATIONS Shayda! I’ve been here since almost the beginning and it’s been so amazing to watch you and your channel grow! Thank you so much for everything you do for us all! ❤❤
I’ve been here for a long time, and I was a patron for sometime, and I always thought you deserved much more. Now you are here, WE are here together and it’s a joy. I loved especially your video about anemones, which I drew myself in Procreate, and the hydrangeas. I’m so in love with flowers, and this is the year I finally got my first garden, my dream come true, the project of my life, something I never thought will happen. Dreams come true. ❤❤❤
Thank you, lovely Shayda.💗💕 So hard to pick a favourite video - they are all uplifting, inspiring, instructive, touching, or all those at once! I love when you candidly share snippets of your life. If I have to pick one single "favourite" it would have to be "How To Design Your Painting" from 2 years ago. It's the first tutorial I ever tried, it overcame a 58-year painting phobia, and it has given a long hard long-covid journey some glimmers of joy and accomplishment amidst the ongoing struggle. You truly take the "scary" out of art, and I cannot express my gratitude for how much your kindness has enriched my life.
I only just found your channel a couple of weeks ago as I searched for uplifting, positive content after a year of learning about and healing from a narcissistic relationship. My feed had gotten quite dark. Your tutorial of 25 watercolor flower doodles got me hooked. The next day I was at the art supply store getting a basic set up. My feed has changed a lot since I subscribed to your channel. Thank you so much for the joy you bring, for your sincerity, for your tears. Thank you for leading me to the next step on my healing journey. 🙏🏽❤️
Hi! My 15 year old daughter came across your videos when she was searching for a watercolor tutorial. Her first watercolor painting was Every Watercolor Flower You'll Ever Need and she has been learning from your videos for about a year now and she is doing so well! You have been such a wonderful influence on her artwork! 😊 Congrats on 1M and thank you!!!!!
That was my first watercolor video I ever watched! Love it and watched many times since 2020. But my ALL TIME favorite video was from two years ago where you DIY hand painted Christmas ornaments. I used that to make make my own ornaments with my 84 year old Mama last Christmas. They aren’t perfect (perfectly imperfect) but the time spent with my Mom is a treasured memory. Her hand isn’t steady enough to paint anymore but she did the pouring into empty ornaments and I did the outside painting. Thank you Shayda for sharing your gift with all of us. Your humility and talent has earned you the blessings that you have received. God bless you.
Hi Shayda! A huge congrats to you and Chris for meeting this monumental milestone! 🎉 It’s clear how much time and effort you put into this TH-cam channel and your e-courses and we appreciate you teaching all of us to have fun painting. Picking a favourite video can’t happen because there are just too many to choose from but one that stands out for me is one of your very early on ones. I remember watching a very short video about 6 years ago called “How to draw flowers, leaves and berries” and in it you drew a simple little flower that you called a “baseball mitt” which made me smile and I’ve never forgotten that simple little flower. As a side note-when you lived in PEI, I took a drive from Summerside to meet you at your delightful little Geranium shop. What a beautiful place that was and it was so nice to get to meet and talk with you in person. (Your chalkboard art was the best!)
My favourite video is your pop up flower card. I made it for my mum on Mother's day, who is now 85 and just recently for my lovely daughter who turned 21 this month. I would love for you to create another floral pop up card, Shayda. Thank you for all the pleasure and relaxation your channel has given me over the years and congratulations on reaching 1 million subscribers. God bless you from Julie in Surrey, England.
I am pleased thaat you are doing so well and have been able to make a success of your gift. You do have a way to make me more confortable trying new subjects in painting. The most remarcable course was when you shared your adiction and the way you were to change. Thank you. I am still getting use to your hair color.
Oh Shayda, I was crying too 😅 Becoming a mother is such a wonderful blessing. I have four children, one is 6 months old. I have been watching your tutorials since 2018 When I got into bullet journaling. It’s really hard to pin down my favorite video since I have so many. If I absolutely had to choose one it would be the water color daisy video. I will be honest I have always been an artist but never really cared for water color until I started watching your videos. Now I LOVE watercolor and I have you to thank for that! Thank you for bring the joy of water color to my life Shayda!
I am getting emotional with you!! You, your family, your art and your home are so beautiful and you all deserve the best in your life!! Congratulations Shayda!!! Sending all my love!! 🥰🥰
Thank you Shayda! I’ve been following you for a few years and am currently binge watching your videos from the beginning and am loving watching your progression. You taught me to be brave and draw flowers so I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Being in my office/studio/closet/library/sewing/happy room and watching your videos past and present keeps me sane. I am still getting up the nerve to try watercolor flowers, need to work some more on being brave. My friend has an art studio class space on an old school bus (she created a beautiful place for creating) where she has a “brave” sign that she lights up at the beginning of each class. You help me with my “brave!” THANK YOU!❤❤❤
Thank you Shayda for tons of inspiration and for making it all look so simple and achievable! I love your drawing and watercolor tutorials, my favorite is the forest painting tutorial because it has all sorts of different objects: trees, mushrooms, feathers, acorns, eggs. Love it! But of course your flower tutorials have become a classic for me. Thank you for your time and effort. Art helps, art heals. I live in Ukraine - a war-torn country at present. I am slowly getting back to creating something to heal my soul from the horrors of the war. A year ago it felt like there was no past, no future anymore, so why create? Now I see the signs of healing a little bit and art definitely helps. Thank you for being a part of my revival. 💛💙
Thank you for sharing! I am so happy to hear that you are still creating, and seeing those signs of healing. 🥲 I think I will paint more sunflowers this weekend
Hello Shayda, my daughter absolutely loves your art videos and puts them on the television all the time! She thinks you are amazing and ispirational and you have made her actually apprecciate the beautiful artwork she has created. But one video really stuck which she is painting so much and that is the Easy Orange Blossom Practice. She has recreated it for birthday cards and just whenever she feels like it she paints them! Thank you so much for making this amazing channel!
Hi Shayda! My favourite youtube is your “Art & Healing, My Mental Health Story”. I believe that you have helped so many people, from all over the world, and especially during Covid-19 Lockdowns, to explore watercolour, journaling, & I love your expression “we make art fun and not scary” along with it being okay to be “perfectly imperfect”!! Congrats on reaching 1 million subscribers!!
Congratulations! I truly love your style and thank you for sharing your gift. My favorite video (this week) is your Floral Doodles (with markers). I started out wanting to learn how to write “fancily” (is that a word❓) because I like to make homemade paper cards (I’m old’ish). I saw a lot of calligraphy tutorials and got a little crazy hoarding all sorts of pens and brush pens. Then it all got overwhelming and still still can’t do calligraphy months later, but I feel a little better because now I can repurpose my beautiful pens and brush pens. I also L❤️ve your color mixing videos. Thank you for reminding me that art is not scary.
Congratulations, Shayda! You are the first watercolor artist that I followed when I began my watercolor explorations three years ago. Your style, simple explanations, and calming tone have always been very appealing and approachable to me. Your encouragement and little reminders like, "it's a leaf if you say it's a leaf" have helped me so much to overcome my insecurities with my painting. Although I have found and follow other artists now, too, I always come back to you as a sort of calming, safe space where I know I will love the colors and style you use and feel happy just from watching you paint - while always learning something as a bonus 😊 My favorite video of yours is the one where you are painting a page of purple flowers in your Paris garden because that was the first full page painting that I tried and I still have it on display in my bedroom to this day. In that video you gave me confidence that I could actually paint something pretty, and you were right 😊 Thank you for putting so much love and care into your tutorials for all of us!
Congratulations on getting 1 million subscribers! 🌷💕 my fav/ first video I saw from you was the doodling flowers with a pen. I was in my line art phase, and your videos were always so helpful. I was trying to learn how to draw peonies and different flowers for my business. So thank you so much for that! ❤
Oh, Shayda, you're making me cry, too. I started following you in 2021, when In first started watercolor painting. Thank you for your tutorials, your words of encouragement, sharing your life story. Sending you blessings & aloha.
I have followed you for several years. My first bullet journal picture (July) 2018) was you showing me how to do it. You have a natural, calm way of teaching and showing us how its ok to be perfectly imperfect Congratulations to you and Chris on a million subscribers. PS I love your natural hair colour.
1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!! 🎉🎉 Congratulations Shayda! So well deserved! It's super hard to choose, but I think my favorite video is your Plein Air Watercolor video you did from the Bay of Fundy. A wonderful tutorial with our gorgeous Canadian scenery.😍
Congratulations! :D I love your videos, even though I mostly do digital art, because of the nostalgia of wanting to paint and all of the tips that you give. One of my favorite videos is your "How to Paint a Cookie | Valentine's Day Baking" video. I love baking, cookies and being creative and I even remember you saying the ones you painted were stale and mostly for decor because of the drying time for the icing. lol
WOW! how special. I have only been watching about a year. I love your voice and your style of teaching and style of painting. You had me bawling. I love personal stories and people who are grateful. You love what you do, and it shows. I love painting, but I'm horrible. However it doesn't matter because I enjoy it and it brings me joy. Even my paintings that are messed up and full of hard lines and cauliflowers! Ha! still enjoying it. Thank you for sharing your story.
You have rocked our world!! In 2 months I will retire from teaching, and thought my entire 63 years that you were either born an artist, or you weren't, so I NEVER picked up a pen or paint brush! And then I saw your doodling 5 flowers video a couple months ago. I thought perhaps I could doodle. I showed my third grade students my crude drawings, and they now beg to draw along with you at every indoor recess time! My daughter and granddaughter flew in for the weekend and we enjoyed a watercolor night!! My husband insists that I keep working at it. Your sweet voice now fills our home most every day!! Thank you! Thank you!! I think doodling the 5 flowers is my favorite, because it was my inspiration. All I can think about is how soon I can get back to that Mungyo 48 watercolor pan!!
Dear Shayda, I am relatively new to your channel and just love your videos and tutorials. When you were all so sick over Christmas and into January, I wished I could drop by with some hot soup for you. I appreciate the way you share your life with us. Thank you. It's hard to choose a favourite video, but I have enjoyed the videos about what to paint/draw when you're bored, and how to fill a sketchbook. But if I have to choose just ONE favourite video, I'll choose the How to Paint Loose Watercolor Florals for Beginners, because loosening up my painting is something I've needed to do for a long time. You show just how to do it and explain it well. Congratulations on reaching 1 Million subscribers - you're a star! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Shayda I have loved watching your progression and celebrating with you son of the big milestones 🎉 I can’t say I’ve been here from the beginning but it has been probably 5 or 6 years now. Picking just one favorite video or tutorial is Impossible for me. I love them ALL! I can say I have been most inspired by the bullet journal layouts and this year’s especially with the folk art them is my most favorite by far! Your little animals make me want to draw and paint all day! Also I’m really excited about and loving your vintage scenery watercolors! Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge and journey with us!
@@ShaydaCampbell it’s fun to learn and grow together and see how things change and develop in such a beautiful way! Such a lovely experience 💕 really looking forward to all the coming creations!
Oh Shayda I am so happy for you reaching 1 MILLION subscribers!! As a child I Loved art and Watercolor was a fave of mine, however I didn’t have support from my family and never did much with my talent. It wasn’t until I reconnected and married my husband that I felt allowed to be Me completely. Then came you !! Many many videos I watched and learned and today I Live Art ❤ Thanks to you too!! My favorite videos are All the florals but also like Feb 2019 Plan with me as I loved filling in the negative space black. It totally made me look professional!❤ Love in Art, Jayelynn
Big Congratulations Shayda!! So glad I found you. I would have never tried to draw, but you gave me the courage to try. (water color next!) Your demeanor and your "quiet" encouragement makes me feel like I am having a cup of tea with you. Thank you. And thank you for your honesty and courage to be you in front of all of us. It means a lot. Keep doing what you are doing. We all love you. I don't think I can really name a favorite, I enjoy them all so much. But the "How to draw flowers with a Brush pen and Markers" really opened up my creative abilities. Thank you again Shayda for being such an incredible human and fellow Canadian🌺🌹🌼. So proud!
Hi Shayda, congratulations for 1 million followers, I've been following you since 2020 and I've learned a lot with your tutorials, I've repeated this tutorial 4 or 5 times, I love it, it's one of my favorites, my other favorite and that I've repeated a lot is Every watercolor leaf you'll ever need! and From blank page to amazing artwork, Anatomy of a painting and 3 simple steps for more realistic watercolor leaves and more, but this are my 3 favorites; I have your two e-courses. I already did the first one and I still have to finish the second one, I just want to thank you and your husband for all the work, all the knowledge transmitted, and for one or two million more, you deserve it. 🤗✨💖🎨🖌️🌸
Hi Shayda, congratulations on 1 million subscribers! You deserve it. I started learning watercolor painting during the pandemic in 2020 and my cousin recommended your channel. You were my first "online tutor"! I loved learning watching your TH-cam videos. You made it seem so possible to achieve. I loved your colour aesthetic as well! My favourite video of yours (this is a hard one cause i loved a lot of them) was the stormy sky tutorial 2 years ago. I loved the moody colours and when i painted it, it actually gave me a sense of achievement and hope that perhaps i could paint after all too!😅 Your recent moody vintage landscape tutorial is my current favourite. I tried it out a couple of days back. Looks nothing like yours but your teaching style has always given me confidence to try out new techniques and inspired me to keep painting! So thank you for all that you have done and continue to do! God bless!
Shayda, what a joy you are to watch! I’ve always loved your florals, but my new favorite tutorials are your landscapes. Most recently, your moody vintage color pallets… simply amazing work. You are inspiring me to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. Blessings to you and your sweet little family. I wish you many more years of success.
Thank you for all your lovely videos, and congratulations on your utterly deserved 1m subscribers. Your videos have been invaluable over the last three years of homeschooling, my very artistic daughter has learned so much from you. But in addition, I have gone from being someone who couldn't even draw stick figures very well, to someone who can produce a hand painted card for my family. My favourite video is the 15 minute pumpkin card tutorial, it was the first thing I painted that I felt truly proud of. Thanks again!
Hi Shayda! I'm a fan from Singapore, crying tears of joy along with you as you poured your emotions into this video. I came across your super simple art tutorials back when you were the eleventh apartment. Even back then, I found your approach to art very accessible and fun, and most importantly, achievable. I have tried following other artists but I always come back to yours. I have had the best success when I follow along to your videos. I can't pick a favourite because I love so many but I will pick the one that I didn't attempt - the folklore series of bullet journalling that you are having currently. I so admire your effortless and courageous way of sketching and I love your style. It's perfect, in my eye. I wish you and your family all the very best and thank you for being here.
First of all, congratulations Shayda! Every Tuesday and Friday I will wait for your update video. Even though sometimes I might don't have time to draw along with you. But it's already a comfort by watching it. Especially today. I had a really rough day today; Anger and sadness overwhelmed me. After wiping my tears, I heard myself saying: go draw with Shayda, don't waste your time on these meaningless things. Thank you, Shayda, for being there, make complicated image into an easy beautiful drawing. My favorite video is the 2023 Yearly Bullet Journal set up one. I really enjoyed the black and white images you created. I am a church schoolteacher; I drew your simple animals on notebooks and give to my students as prize. They loved it. From your idea, I also become more creative, and I enjoyed giving handmade gift to family and friends. Thank you always for your inspiration!
When I decided to pursue a go at watercolors again after many many years I did so because I started watching watercolor artists on TH-cam, so when I picked up my paint brushes for my first try at florals it was with Shayda! I loved everything about your art, your florals, your style, your videos, the sound of your voice! And I am still doing watercolors over 3 years later and it's my absolute favorite creative thing to do. This milestone video really touched me and I'm so grateful to learned from wonderful people like you! I am excited to paint along in this video and see how my style has also evolved and improved. Thank you so much!
Yay! 🎉 Love you, Shayda. I'm so happy for you being able to have the home and encouragement you've needed. Thanks for sharing your love of natural beauty with us! My favorite I've watched is hard to pinpoint, but I really enjoyed your latest landscape experimentation with watercolor.
I have been a OG for years, & love this channel & was a patreon for a long time but lost my job & had to stop. As soon as I am able to re-sign up. Congratulation Shayda!
The loose watercolor florals video is the first video I ever watched when I decided to try watercolor as a hobby...now I have painted that floral collage for numerous gifts for my friends. They always love it and think it is stunning. It was the first video that made me feel like as a "non-artsy" person, I could still create something beautiful :)
Congratulations Shayda! I have already subscribed a month ago and my favourite❤ video is how to paint pop up watercolor cards(without cricut), I recreated that artwork and it was beautiful
Hello shayda! I remember finishing my exams back in 2019 and thinking -- what should I do? That's when i discovered you. You're literally my foundation in learning flowers. YOU made me feel better and taught me that being imperfect is perfectly fine. Thanks for that. I can never forget how one tutorial at a time, i loved how loosely you drew and painted! Hard to choose however, i love this tutorial -- How to draw flowers with brush pens. + markers ❤ Nice to see you bloom shayda ❤
My favorite episode is 50 ways to fill a sketchbook The first page. I found your channel and watercolor during the pandemic. Your videos always make me feel like I really can paint watercolor. I enjoy your channel very much: your style is natural and easy, encouraging. I was so touched by your episode about history with addiction. Thank you for sharing yourself and being brave, which inspires me to be brave too. Congrats and so deserved on 1 million subscribers!!!
My favorite video is your one on mental health. I am a caregiver for my Mom with dementia. It's hard, and my mental health was and still is suffering. I found watercolor and video's like yours help me see I am not alone. Painting has become so therapeutic for me, and I thank you for your videos, but especially that one.
I think my favorite tutorial is “5 simple watercolor flowers you can master today” ! It is quite similar to this one, with the addition of a beautiful lilac branch, one of my favorite flowers. It’s the first one I tried to recreate and I loved doing it !
Congrats, Shayda!! I wish I could just reach through the camera and give you a giant hug, dear sister! This channel got me started painting back in 2019 and I haven't stopped yet. I think it's because you are so authentic and true to yourself and the craft. I love your channel so much! My favorite tutorial (how to choose!?!) would probably be the 5 min watercolor painting because it really challenged me to loosen up and just let the art flow out of me :) This is life-changing to simply allow ourselves to create. Thank you so much for all that you do
My favorite video is “My best watercolor secret revealed” ; it is amazing and so fun to paint along with you.. You are very gifted and we are so blessed to have you here. Thank you and congratulations!!
Another great video Shayda! You were the first TH-cam watercolour artist I followed and helped me begin my watercolour journey! It was the wildflowers with watercolour pencils that you did. Three reasons I think you’re great: you are easy to listen to, you make your pieces look easy to follow, and you’re Canadian!! 🇨🇦 Like me! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Congratulations!🎉🎉🎉Happy for you💕 My favorite one is “Blob Cats!!” I was following you and step by step paint all the cats. Gave to my daughter on her birthday. She is now 32. She said it was one of her best gift she ever had. 👏👏👏 Thank you! You made my late 50th everyday special! 😊
Don't know that I have a favorite specific tutorial, but I love your flowers best of all. You have a delicate hand, but an amazing eye for color and placement. On one hand, you make it look so easy as you talk about what you're doing, but at the same time, you're turning out true art. Sooo pretty!
I have not been with you from the beginning, but I did find your channel exactly when I needed to. As covid hit, I began to experiment and discovered that I might actually have a creative side - that I could, in fact, draw and perhaps even paint?! I am not certain, but I think "How To Draw Flowers | Florals Step By Step" was the very first of your videos that I watched - and was encouraged to keep going - perfectly imperfect! Thank you! and CONGRATULATIONS on the 1M sub milestone! 💚🎨
"How to paint loose watercolor florals" was the very first video I found of yours and after watching it, I realized.... I can do this! It's so much more simple and less intimidating than I thought. But it always comes out beautiful even if it looks weird in the process. I'll have to say that's my favorite video of yours since it was my first one that brought me to you! Thanks for all your content and I'm really looking forward to the landscapes you're coming out with now. It's a fun change up!
Congratulations shayda 🎉🎉 I started following you in 2022 and I really like your art and I really liked your watercolor daisy tutorial and I even made that painting for my sister and gifted the painting on her wedding and she really loved it and your art is amazing ❤❤❤
Dear Shayda, may life continue to smile at you, your work is beautiful, you deserve my love and follow you in every video, I feel very proud of you for your achievements and for being the person you are, one day I found you and your charisma and simplicity I loved it. Thank you with all my heart. A hug❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘
Shayda, you teach so well, the way you explain, your love that is shared in every paint stokes…I started to love watercolor with you and there is not one project I didn’t followed…did the drawings, the agendas, the paintings and I love to see my improvement one video after one video…if I could meet you in person, I would hug you and thank you because I live in Canada to but complete other side…you seem to be such a nice person❤ please continue to do so much for us…and by the way, it’s almost impossible to choose a favorite video but any fall decor like the one with the fall leaves and berries or the mushrooms, is one I like to redo…thanks again and again…and sorry if my English is not that good but it comes from my heart…😊
Congratulations ✨ I'm three years in your yt journey now ☺ Actually I love your watercolor tutorials a lot, but my favorite video of yours is "How to draw flowers | Florals step by step" and the first part of it. I needed some practice, of course, but now its actually easy to draw this flowers and I diyed some bookmarks out of old books and some of thes flowers on top. And I'm missing your old studio background with this huge floral arrangement painted on this long roll of paper 😍
Hi Shayda, Congrats on your million! I am retired and live in Zululand South Africa. I just love your kind, cheerful, inspiring videos and really look forward to them each Friday. They have given me many hours of enjoyment, thank you so much. I love your coloured flower videos, but strangely my current favourite is the recent black and white daisy and ladybird video.
Omg Shaydaaaa, you gave us the hardest task ever!!! It is impossible to choose ONE favorite when I love them all! For the sake of it, my favorite is the "small painting big success! Super simple watercolor mini flowers" but truly, love them all!😁
I am sending a big big hug from iran to canada for you shayda. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
️❤ We are all your friends here, you are not alone
Me too during the pandemic watercolor painting with Shayda helped calm my anxiety.
Guess what!? I just opened my PRINT SHOP! If you would like to purchase prints of my paintings, check it out here: www.shaydacampbell.com/shop
Congratulations!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wonderful!!! I am so happy for you!!🎉🎉🎉
Finally 😍
❤️🥲
This made me cry. You are such a wonderful and sweet person and I've loved watching you grow in your painting skills. I don't exactly remember when I first subscribed, but I loved watching the amount grow to 1 Million! My favorite video of yours is How To Paint a Floral Letter. I had made my cousins each one a few years back and they loved them! All your videos give me so much inspiration to paint and hand-letter. Thank you! May you and your family be blessed int his new season! ❤
Thank you 🥲
Thank you for creating this channel..it is such an inspiration for me..i love your motto "art is not scary"..it boost my confidence so much.. congratulations🎉🎉🎉 for 1M subscribers!!!❤
That is really, really, really cool. The world could use more creative people like you who genuinely care.
I love this so much 🥲❤️ What an amazing way to use your art
I'm not at all surprised you have a million subscribers! Your florals and teaching style are gentle, inspiring, and make us feel like we can do it too! My favorite videos are your journaling videos. I love the themes, really love the Dutch doors, and just the simple beauty that is found in ALL of your videos. Many hugs and congratulations!
🥲 thank you!!
Thanks for sharing, and for being a part of this community! Art is a great therapy for all kinds of things
My favorite is 12 easy flower doodles you need to know.
Thank you.
🥲❤️ I am so glad to hear that you are painting. I think your mom would love that, she knows you are an artist ❤️
Very happy for you, Shayda!
I'm still getting used to your brown hair. 🥰
One of my favorite videos is your Blob Cats one. So fun!
I hope so!
My favorite video is “Twelve Easy Flower Doodles You Need to Know.” It was the very first Shayda Campbell I ever saw. I drew those flowers and have been drawing flowers ever since.
Congratulations. You really opened my ability to do flowers. Here’s to you and what you do!!! Love the channel and you
Thank you so much!
The stalk of purple flowers between the Peony and the Daisy, appear to be Larkspur. 😊💕
Thank you for being a part of this community ❤ I am so happy we have started talking about mental health here
@@ShaydaCampbell My pleasure. Me too! ❤
Love that! Thank you for sticking with me :)
Thank you so much 😀
Congratulations!! You’re such a sweet person, you deserve it. 🤗❤️🐝
🥲 thank you
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 Shayda, I was feeling blessed the day I came across this amazing video called Painting Leaves with Watercolors… There was this exuberant, engaging, beautiful and very inspiring young artist I had never seen before!🥰 I watched her simplistic but very elegant ways she walked us through step by step on making the most beautiful but eloquent green leaves. She was very sincere and open with her content and even told us in the video how little it really does cost to get started watercolor painting! 🍃
Thank you for your Amazing Videos and all the Content you continue to create and share with all of us crafty souls. 🦋
So excited for you! Congratulations on all your hard work through the years. And yes, I’ve been here for years❤
Oh Shayda, what a beautiful video! ❤
Thank you 🥲
Congratulations Shayda !
🥲 Thank you so much
Oh my gosh CONGRATULATIONS Shayda! I’ve been here since almost the beginning and it’s been so amazing to watch you and your channel grow! Thank you so much for everything you do for us all! ❤❤
Thank you so much!!
🥲 Thank you! and congrats on your garden! I love that
Congrats!🎉🎉 You deserve every bit of this!
So happy for you❤️
Summer mini flowers is great. Wonderful of you to have a drawing. Thank you
Thank you so much 😀
Congrats Shayda! ❤
Thank you for being a part of our community!
th-cam.com/video/t4zbRk-4Ppo/w-d-xo.html ❤️❤️
Amazing!!❤🎉 congratulations! You deserve it!!
Thank you for sharing ❤❤️
I'm so glad you shared that with her 🥲❤️
🥲🥲🥲 thank you
My favourite video is your pop up flower card.
Thanks for sharing!!
I am pleased thaat you are doing so well and have been able to make a success of your gift. You do have a way to make me more confortable trying new subjects in painting. The most remarcable course was when you shared your adiction and the way you were to change. Thank you. I am still getting use to your hair color.
haha thank you!!
4! Congratulations!!
I am getting emotional with you!! You, your family, your art and your home are so beautiful and you all deserve the best in your life!! Congratulations Shayda!!! Sending all my love!! 🥰🥰
🥲
@@ShaydaCampbell ❤️💖
Thank you Shayda! I’ve been following you for a few years and am currently binge watching your videos from the beginning and am loving watching your progression. You taught me to be brave and draw flowers so I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Being in my office/studio/closet/library/sewing/happy room and watching your videos past and present keeps me sane. I am still getting up the nerve to try watercolor flowers, need to work some more on being brave. My friend has an art studio class space on an old school bus (she created a beautiful place for creating) where she has a “brave” sign that she lights up at the beginning of each class. You help me with my “brave!” THANK YOU!❤❤❤
I love the sounds of an art bus and or an office/studio/closet/library/sewing/happy room 😍
You can do it! Art is fun, not scary
🥲 I think I will paint more sunflowers this weekend
th-cam.com/video/pQravVLgS-E/w-d-xo.html
Congratulations Shayda ,you are a beautiful soul, so you draw all beautiful flowers
❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😀
Hello Shayda, my daughter absolutely loves your art videos and puts them on the television all the time!
Thank you for sharing! 🥲
Thank you!
People must love to receive these cards!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Oh, Shayda, you're making me cry, too. I started following you in 2021, when In first started watercolor painting. Thank you for your tutorials, your words of encouragement, sharing your life story. Sending you blessings & aloha.
🥲
Congratulations!! Very happy for you. x Blessings x Mariana x UK xx
I have followed you for several years. My first bullet journal picture (July) 2018) was you showing me how to do it. You have a natural, calm way of teaching and showing us how its ok to be perfectly imperfect Congratulations to you and Chris on a million subscribers. PS I love your natural hair colour.
Thank you!
Thank you so much!!
I love this! Thank you for sharing your art with everyone, you are an artist!
Dear Shayda,
I am relatively new to your channel and just love your videos and tutorials.
Thank you! If I haven't said it yet, Welcome to the channel :)
Such a long time! The videos have definitely changed in 5 years 😅❤
@@ShaydaCampbell it’s fun to learn and grow together and see how things change and develop in such a beautiful way!
It totally made me look professional!❤
Love in Art, Jayelynn
❤ ❤ ❤
So proud!
You can do it! ❤️
Thank you so much!
I loved the moody colours and when i painted it, it actually gave me a sense of achievement and hope that perhaps i could paint after all too!😅
Your recent moody vintage landscape tutorial is my current favourite. I tried it out a couple of days back. Looks nothing like yours but your teaching style has always given me confidence to try out new techniques and inspired me to keep painting!
So thank you for all that you have done and continue to do! God bless!
Thank you!!
So many apartments ago 😅 Thank you so much!!
Yeiiiiiii, 1 mil subscribers!!! 🎉🎉🎉 congrats!!! 🎉🎉🎉❤ ahhh, you made me cry (I am a HSP) 🤗⚘️
🎉🎊🎈 Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈
When I decided to pursue a go at watercolors again after many many years I did so because I started watching watercolor artists on TH-cam, so when I picked up my paint brushes for my first try at florals it was with Shayda! I loved everything about your art, your florals, your style, your videos, the sound of your voice! And I am still doing watercolors over 3 years later and it's my absolute favorite creative thing to do. This milestone video really touched me and I'm so grateful to learned from wonderful people like you! I am excited to paint along in this video and see how my style has also evolved and improved. Thank you so much!
Thank you for sticking with me!
Yay! 🎉 Love you, Shayda. I'm so happy for you being able to have the home and encouragement you've needed. Thanks for sharing your love of natural beauty with us! My favorite I've watched is hard to pinpoint, but I really enjoyed your latest landscape experimentation with watercolor.
Thank you so much!!
I have been a OG for years, & love this channel & was a patreon for a long time but lost my job & had to stop. As soon as I am able to re-sign up. Congratulation Shayda!
I hope so!
Thank you!
️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for all that you do
🥲
My favorite video is “My best watercolor secret revealed” ; it is amazing and so fun to paint along with you.. You are very gifted and we are so blessed to have you here. Thank you and congratulations!!
Thank you so much 😀
Another great video Shayda! You were the first TH-cam watercolour artist I followed and helped me begin my watercolour journey! It was the wildflowers with watercolour pencils that you did. Three reasons I think you’re great: you are easy to listen to, you make your pieces look easy to follow, and you’re Canadian!! 🇨🇦 Like me! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
🇨🇦
Congratulations!🎉🎉🎉Happy for you💕 My favorite one is “Blob Cats!!” I was following you and step by step paint all the cats. Gave to my daughter on her birthday. She is now 32. She said it was one of her best gift she ever had. 👏👏👏 Thank you! You made my late 50th everyday special! 😊
Thank you so much!!
Don't know that I have a favorite specific tutorial, but I love your flowers best of all. You have a delicate hand, but an amazing eye for color and placement. On one hand, you make it look so easy as you talk about what you're doing, but at the same time, you're turning out true art. Sooo pretty!
Thank you!
I love it! you definitely have a creative side
❤
❤️🇨🇦
Congratulations ✨ I'm three years in your yt journey now ☺ Actually I love your watercolor tutorials a lot, but my favorite video of yours is "How to draw flowers | Florals step by step" and the first part of it. I needed some practice, of course, but now its actually easy to draw this flowers and I diyed some bookmarks out of old books and some of thes flowers on top. And I'm missing your old studio background with this huge floral arrangement painted on this long roll of paper 😍
Congratulations, Shayda! Very exciting.
Thank you so much!
Omg Shaydaaaa, you gave us the hardest task ever!!! It is impossible to choose ONE favorite when I love them all! For the sake of it, my favorite is the "small painting big success! Super simple watercolor mini flowers" but truly, love them all!😁
Thank you so much!!
