The Samebike 20LVXD30 is a nice ebike, as long as it works, in my case after 157km the motor and controller burned out and it took more than two months to get the spare parts from the manufacturer. In these two months, I have been in contact with hundreds of people who have had the same problem as me, you wake up one morning, turn on the 20LVXD30 and it doesn't work! The people I spoke to all had the same problem as me, the motor and controller burned out during normal use without making the ebike make any effort. However, the biggest problem is the inability to find spare parts, and the only solution is to completely replace the motor, controller and display, in practice, if it fails, you have to buy everything new!
I am buying this bike too, tried to research a lot but I am not finding any information as you mentioned about motor/controller burning out happening to hundreds online anywhere. Can you reference this affecting others too so i can cancel my order if so.. Sincerely a concerned buyer. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the infon I think because this is new product, it doesn't have much info and feedback yet. Why I bought this because it is hard to find 350W folding e-bike with the cheap price, and even now in amazon is sold out. I complained about the rubbing noise on the disc brakes, the supplier suggested me to repair in local bike store and they will reimburse the invoice.

As you say there is not much info out there but they(Samebike) seem to have a large warehouse manufacturing these bikes. As a matter of fact I had contacted seller as price had dropped by about £75 from when I placed Order. They said they had now sent via their Europe warehouse and would give me a gift (???).

Hash Ashin Hi Hash. I have not ridden as yet but can confirm it about 28-29kg with battery in. That’s a very good price your getting it for as I had seen it first on Gearbest but had issues with them in the past and said I would never knowingly give them business again. It seems to have come direct from Samebike and they have supposedly refunded me the £75 difference in price from when I brought it to it being delivered. I will update about the ride without assistance as this was a priority for me getting a assisted bike. Update: Hi Hash So I finally ventured out as weather perked up and went to Epping Forest as this is the sort of terrain I was looking to use on(dirt/grass and small inclines). My first impression is that on the flat the bike is ok without turning on motor but you get to any speed the 7 gears aren’t enough(as mentioned in someone’s else’s comment I saw). Went up/down some tarmac lanes and one or two had noticeable rises and found that it was impossible to get up without having the assist. I found that on pure electric it was struggling and would have come to a stop if I didn’t pedal as well. On the open road I felt as I have read someone say in another TH-cam comment that it was not quick enough even with me assisting (I have since changed the max speed setting from what it shipped as, see TH-camr J Burcker[Turn off speed limiter]. But have not tried it as yet out on the road to see if any improvement). Have managed to change the display to show MPH. Watching other TH-cam videos I would not say the display is the best out there but I guess it’s what you pay for. What I would say is that riding through Epping Forest and taking everything around you in, the speed is too much but if your looking to get from A-B asap then it’s not enough without tweaking. I Found ride was comfortable but my bottom was getting a bit sore(don’t think that had much to do with the bikes ride). I also found early on that the seat was too low and by extending it i felt less strain on my legs when I needed to assist with peddling I.e up hills. I Was really concerned about the weight (lifting to get over doorstep/into car etc) but was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t find it the issue I imagined it was going to be. The front headlight is bright bright bright but strangely there is no rear apart from a reflective one. The horn too is enough to make even the rider jump.lol To sum up The reason for me getting was because I’m not fit anymore and loved to cycle. Not sure if it’s the best folding e-bike out there and as can be seen the reviews and instructions with the bike are sparse but in my opinion it is worth it for what I want it for. I have had one interaction with the seller on Amazon and that was to do with the drop in price so it’s all been positive.
review of this bike after one year: i had to replace the chain and a pedal that was broke. when driving on bumby roads the chain comes out often. the posture generates back pain so i suggest to buy a super cushioned seat

This bike has no adjustment for assistance levels. When pedalling, It's either Full Power, or, Zero power. Don't buy one until you're sure this suits you.
@Tom Jennings HI, the 3 settings I find are, 1. No assistance, 2. Throttle use (Moped), or 3. Pedal assist. Start pedalling and after a few turns of the pedals the power assist kicks in, and it's full on. If you're on anything other than a hill, you now stop pedalling until the bike slows down again. Uphill of course this works a treat.
@@petermackie2883once kicked in, how long would it take before the rider can pedal again? It doesn’t sound constant peddling is possible in the peddle assist mode?

So far so good 10 bulan sudah 463 miles atau 745 km. Kelemahan sepeda samebike tidak ada Level pedal assist nya...jadi main di break aja. Atau matikan mesin kalo utk mau olah raga berat sih tapi kalo jalannya datar it's OK. Kelemahan lain dia pakai kunci kontak. Itu aja

Iya emang agak tricky harus agak keras muter kuncinya. Kalo di kunci lihat deket kuncinya ada seperti bunderan besi silver yang nyangkut antara frame dan battery. Itu harus masuk kedalam kalo kunci di putar.

Mine was 900 GBP from an Amazon seller. I have since seen them cheaper on other sellers. Living in Cyprus, the delivery was a problem. I had to have mine sent to a UK address then I had it shipped to Cyprus. That cost me an extra 180 Euro.

The position of the LCD vs the shifter controls seems ludicrous, are you able to reach the shifters while keeping hand on handlebar near brake?

Belum di coba kalo full electric (throttle). Kalo pakai pedal assist pernah coba sampai 26 miles/40 km (dari full charge sampai battery habis).
