Have the lock installed with 4 users. Have my phone paired. Is it possible to add a phone for each of the other three users? Is there an instruction video on how to add additional phones?
I’m not able to connect to my lock when I’m not at home. I thought I would be able to open the door for someone if they came to my house without giving them the code
Hey Nakul, So great question here. To my knowledge and I could be wrong here Z-Wave devices will need to sync with a hub. It being Z-Wave the 916 will not be compatible.
Depends on which lock you have with Kwikset but I would that way you can change codes remotly and open doors. With just bluetooth you have to be close the door.

Hello we have the 916 z-wave and when we try to pair it with an iPhone through the app it won’t work. Pressing the a button and holding doesn’t make the light turn blue and beep. We tried factory reset 4 times replacing batteries completely dismantling and more. Also what does the z-wave mean. We would appreciate ur help thank you.

Question: I have the Kwikset Halo. I also have the app to see the activity and control the lock remotely. I want my wife to have the same app and controls on her phone. Does she have to download the app and create a separate account or is there a way to mirror my app? Thanks in advance
Hey All, I'm not 100% sure on this one but I think you may need to use the same login. I don't think they allow two users to control lock. You can create codes for other users but that's it.
Got the solution. Yes the second person should also download the app. Go to the App and in top right menu go to “Manage”. You can add user and assign the privileges to the user email. Once the email is verified, both of you can have access as Admins. Hope this helps.

How do you get the lock back online when it goes offline? My app is telling me that my "lock is not in bluetooth range, not connected to wifi, requires firmware update, or is not powered." I dont even know where to start to try and rectify the problem. I am having to use my key to unlock and lock the door now. Any help would be appreciated.

Great question, I know in some cases you can only lock your door with google asst. Because it could be unsafe for someone to say unlock so I think that command is banned by voice. For it not allowing you to lock the door by voice I'm not sure what the issue is there sorry.

Thank you for subscribing!!! Is it bluetooth lock if so you do need to be close enough to do it. But with a WIFI lock you should be able to do it.
Does this have an auto unlock feature when you walk up to the door?
Yes it does it should be in the settings

No, I don't think the lock makes a difference. I would think it would be somewhere in the settings but I can not find it myself.

does the history tell you if they door hasnt been closed tight, if the door has been left open? do you get notifications of that?
It will say jammed if it does not close properly. But for door open I might turn on autolock.

No, so you will need a hub. The app only works on Bluetooth and Wifi locks.

I have a question on the lock itself. Sometimes two numbers show up rather than the full keypad.
Why is that and what does that mean?
That is for security- so it if someone were to try to look at the fingerprints on your lock and guess your lock code they would not be able too

The Battery % is no longer showing on one of my locks, any idea why and how do I get it to show on the app again

You can’t unlock it from anywhere, you have to only be at home. Sucks!
