Thanks for your video vlog. 1st trip away to,tes5 our new to us 2017 Campervan conversion. It was workin* for the habitation, not had a chance to use it or test it in the 26 days since buying it! We were going to do a MH Stop last night, fortunately we didn’t. My wife went off to visi5 a friend and I was working up a test-sample, before t along the dogs for a walk on the beach. Put some pink stuff in the flush tank and went to test it, no flus, checked cassette was in properly. We had to go to a small independent site and the Owner was happy to have a look. The in-line fuese was ok, but was loose. Fixed, still no flush. He suggested it might be the pump. Turning to the University of You Tube, I see it is not an uncommon problem As we are only here for one night, will take it back to the dealers on Monday,it is still under warranty.
Good luck when you go back to the dealership but as you have seen it’s not a really difficult job so you will be fine if you do do it yourself. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

@@FootstepsTyretracks it was thanks been Caravanning since 1983 and can tackle most jobs, but I’d never done this job, it was actually very easy after watching your video, nearly all the others on Utube were for a different model
HI, We had the same thing with the flush pump sticking intermittently on our Sandhurst. I put it down to the pink stuff we put in the tank which causes black blobs to grow in the water. We changed to using the green stuff which seemed to have cleared it, for many months, until coincidentally it stopped again last week at Malvern. Perhaps it's the "Malver Spring Water". I'm thinking now it may be down to using too thick a concentration of additive or maybe it's just reached it's end of life. Darryl and Marlene
Now that just may be a thing 😀. We always use the green as we have a septic tank at home. The mixture could be a factor. Good to know you have a Sandhurst, there will be a few projects coming up just as soon as my broken foot heals 😒
Hi Matt the tanks are just rain water storage, we had a hosepipe ban here in Cornwall last year and this setup allowed me to carrying using a pressure washer and hose to keep our vehicles clean. Amazingly enough we filled one tank (1000l litres) in one night when we set it up.
@@FootstepsTyretracks oh bang on, what washer do you use, is it one designed to work off water butts and tanks or just normal one, i want to do this at mine.
@@mattc8227 I use this one amzn.to/4bhwL3K and to be honest there is hardly any difference between the tap and the lbc tanks, I bought the tanks from a local farmer £75 each
Hi am looking for some help I don't have a drain down hose bung that's very strange but the issue that am having is my toilet pump is working when pressed but no water comes into the bowl I have a lunar ultima 410 so the only way I was told was to keep pressing the flush to drain the flush tank the toilet that's in my caravan is dometic ct 4000 if you could help
Ok I don’t know that system but let’s start with the basics. When you press the button can you hear the pump motor No try the fuse or has the pump failed Yes is there a blockage or has the pump impeller broken. I take it you have have checked the tank for sediment at the bottom
Rereading your post you can hear the pump so check the pump is actually pumping water if not which I think it probably isn’t then it’s a blockage or the pump impeller has definitely failed. Good luck let us know how you get on.
@FootstepsTyretracks I haven't actually checked in the tank as yet as we were away on site last time and I never had any tools with me to try to prize the round bit at the top where the button is it's proving to be very stubborn to get out need something very thin so I don't really know what state the pump is in I did contact the dealer and they said they would sort it but trying to get the time to take the caravan to them is near impossible so would have a go myself

great video as mine is gone the same, so now i can change it, also mate, what do you use the lbc tanks for next to your garage out of interest.
