Could you make the center hollow by taking the cone out before or after it dries to be able to be able to put a flameless candle inside it?

Yes you can do that. I suggest wrapping the cone first with a saran wrap.

For this one, I used the clay that I cooked from this recipe th-cam.com/video/6VYgi7EFBMQ/w-d-xo.html.
But I suggest using DAS Modelling Clay. It’s way better.
