What a great keyboard player and songwriter! Spooner has so much soul. Spooner is a super nice guy and I am so glad he is in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Love those Muscle Shoals muscians.
Thank you Spooner for coming to my dad's visitation a couple days ago. He really would have appreciated it. Know you guys were good friends. Really meant alot to me and my family.
I have the good fortune of having Spooner playing keyboards on my band's upcoming CD.Spoon is pure gold. A Hall Of Famer both as a person and a musician
This here moment of Congratulations should NEVER stop!! them Muscle Shoals guys ( Spooner !!) made the rock n roll world go ‘round!! Praise Jesus and GOD Bless FAME & MSS. every song I love was recorded there!!
@@hot88s23 I rented it to Paul Shaffer when I had a Keyboard Museum on W28th street, NYC. He had such a good ear that he sent it right back for repairs because one single tap wasn't working--one harmonic. So we did a quick repair and he used it on the show and later on Letterman.
Paul is not an M.C. he is respected by all the professional musicians as one of the top all time arrangers and players in the studio or live, those are both very different talents and you need to get along with everyone, another huge talent, so you may want to cut him some slack, Paul loves Spooner and what he did for music, his passion comes out honestly and everyone that knows music, knows Paul and having him do the induction, being a fantastic keyboard player too, same level or higher than Spooner, it actually is the way HOF shows should go. A pretty face and nice voice is as easy to find as wallpaper. BTW, I love music and miss it so much, it's all computer crap and drum machines and auto tune now, horrendous stuff. Cheers. We won't see the likes of Spooner or Paul much longer I'm afraid.

I live in the Shoals area and get to see Spooner during the W C Handy Festival each year. Too many in the area don't appreciate what we have.
How can you not like Spooner Oldham!!
