You're funny, aren't you the same guy who shared a platform with Peterson right before he said all stuff about muslims? you looked very happy to be there futhermore weren't you praising Tate once upon a time and then after the podcast you did on the "Thinking Muslim Podcast" you backtracked ? it's a bit late now saying all this

Why is it too late, he acts upon what he just said. Peterson was a snake and one they realised they distanced themselves.

This was an extremely powerful discussion. Allahumma barik.
Ultimately, the solution for the "dawah scene" is for da'ees to seek Islamic knowledge, for Muslims, as a whole, to seek Islamic knowledge. It's not complex.

This was immensely thought-provoking. The individualistic capitalistic philosophical liberal secular socities create a society that breeds cynicism, existential dread and depression if one was to embody all the ideas and frameworks with their assumptions. The true understanding of love which is loving for the sake of Allah is so profound. We love our family, relstives, friends, whilst acknowledging their various dysfunctionalities because we want what is good for them. Subhan Allah

I like this interview, it is like a KPI “ Key Performance Indicator “ for improving the Dawah scene or re-tracking it or its strategy to its right track and right plan and direction or goals and objectives of Islam and interests of Muslims in right Islamic approach
    Thank you very much
We need all to humble ourselves and look at this prod-cast as if the message is talking about us
It is like a self medical treatment for us to repair ourselves and to call for trying to correct each other with a moral way that fits us as Muslims as brothers and sisters
Thank you very much for correcting me and making me think for a second time and maybe for infinite time because we are learning every day and every moment! May Allah forgive what we did without meaning to do it and may Allah forgive us if we did something we are not capable for it and we did our best because we assumed there is a need for us into it and May Allah forgive us if he assumed that there is no one filling it and we thought it is a responsibility to do something regarding it
I believe we are doing our best and it there is someone who is thinking we are wrong and he is the one and we are blocking him or even her then guide us may Allah bless and reward who gift for me my mistakes so I can correct them or stay away if I must do it and may allah make me really see that mistakes and I can not help no more anyone if really I could not sincerely see them because I may believe the mistakes that was pointed out are not mistakes
So yes it is justice to humble ourselves but this must be not in the price of leaving the truth and to disvalue ourselves and our stands which we are sure about and believe
There is some lines where without a doubt we believe the other side is wrong in it and we will die on this truth whatever was the price

Insane how such an incredible podcast only has 295 views. There should be a way to increase viewership and help more Muslims to benefit from the learnings of this video. Maybe 1. cut this down into clips to share on shorts/tiktok 2. shorten this video into a 10 min highlight and upload that too 3. upload many videos dividing this into etc etc I can help with this too?

Excellent episode masha’Allah. I came here because of brother Hamza but I’ll hang around now because of the host. I always appreciate a host who makes just as valuable contributions as their guest. This discussion was very profound and it flowed extremely well. Just one thing though, I shared this episode around because I wanted everyone to listen to it but I feel the title doesn’t do justice to the content of the episode. The title’s emphasis on Dawah figures/Tate/Peterson I found was off putting to those I shared with this. Although that was a very valuable, introspective segment, the title doesn’t do justice to the amazing segments on freedom of speech, love-among each other and for Allah, materialism, the Western Superiority complex. Perhaps those segments can be uploaded as separate parts? Just a suggestion but JazakAllah for this I really benefitted Alhamdulilah

I am in a country that’s really disconnected from the Dawah scene. We have a few native Duat but they are nowhere as popular as English speaking shaykhs and speakers. This year we had some famous English speaking, muslim Influencers coming to our country and my brother and I went to the events. And honestly, I was shocked. In at least two of this events, there was massive pressure by a professional fund raiser for NGOs. It felt so uncomfortable and to me ruined the event. It felt like the whole Islamic and Ilm setting was just a PR-stunt by this NGO.
I looked it up and these NGOs are massive. They surely do good work but they are also really commercialised and having Dawa as a tool for their growth strategy is questionable. Because in the end the NGO staff is payed and is doing a job for money (which is ok). But this particular blending of the ngo staff earning his livelihood by strategically using dawah, ilm and sadaqa in his job, ruins it for me.
Unfortunately what HAT says is seemingly even more true for humanitarian NGOs.

Muhammad Hijab and Ali Dawah both do such crazy things. Unfortunately Iera and the beautiful brothers from Iera who do great work not only do not disassociate them from them rather they promote them and I just cannot understand it. Ali Dawah is genuinely extremely ignorant. Just look at the way he treats Saajid when Saajid advises him. Br Saajid literally has a degree from Madina Uni in giving dawah but Ali Dawah completely disrespects him whilst having no knowledge. I don't understand how they can justify working with and promoting him.

    Salam Alaykum to the Host.
First of all I liked your video here, gave it a thumbs up too, because I get the reason and benefit of this idea for creating this video.
I’d still advise you to remove your example of what Umar ra did WITH THE ANDREW TATE of his time and then mentioning someone who wanted to leave Islam. This isn’t in any fair measure, and also very nonsensical in my view. Comparing him to someone who punched someone who touched his things and got reprimanded by a caliph, to which deed exactly could this comparison fit to him?
Take my advice how you want.
Shouldn’t be to your disadvantage at least.

Too much coal from Hamza. The online dawah sphere is undoubtedly a positive influence but, more importantly, necessary. Young people spend the majority of their free time on social media, being constantly inundated by values antithetical to islam in very palatable ways. Retreats into aeseticism is a virtue only if you're giving up something. We dont have the power to afford to do this yet. We can't let perfection be the enemy of progress.

    • @DrSyed
      @DrSyed  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

If anything, we need Ust.Hamza and our Host Dr.Syed to bring more 'coal' and then light that fire 🔥.
Essentially what's being said is that if you're going to be in online dawah, which has its role there's no disagreement in that, you need to be a strong Muslim man and that has criteria, one of which is don't be, follow, or pander to a manboy or worse off, be their fanboys.
