Our country could do with a few more politicians like him as our two old political Parties (Labor and Liberal/ Nationals) are going the way of the American ones; corrupted by the big $ lobby groups!

Impressive how Malcolm X went from thinking white would NEVER mix with black (except with cream in coffee), to his experiencing an epiphany when joining virtually ALL RACES in Mecca, circling the Kaaba. And that had a profound effect on ME, a white man.

the problem with your view is it does not and adds nothing and really is the equivalent of throwing up your hands and leaving those Palestinians to their fate . There have been conflicts before in the area and ceasefires that ended conflict and killing . I believe with good reason that Kamala can get in there and work for a ceasefire , working through UN. Jill Stein is totally useless and you know it. Shouting genocide , smearing your fellow citizens as supporting genocide is lazy. Many who vote Trump and Kamala don’t support the lawlessness and killing. Come November 6. I would still care about the fate of the Palestinians. For some of us it’s not political posturing

He's got the usual credentials, degrees, etc. So he has the basic societal legitimacy. He's no peasant working at a gas station and thus unacceptable by meritocracy pedigree standards. But president of this country? That's literally LOL ludicrous. Obviously they're not going to win, which is a good thing, I would never want this pair as prez/vice prez. But even his candidacy with his little garb on, give me a break. This is America, sir. Nobody dresses like that, and would rightly not be taken seriously if they ever did. Yeah, you can find your little niche, typically in academia, but that's where you stay. Hate to break it to you, but nobody else cares about what you care about. Nor should they. And I'm disappointed but not surprised by the greens for picking this guy. It's an insult. They're third-party panderers and grifters and always have been. There should be no obfuscation when it comes to voting Green for most voters in the current political landscape. For most of us the Green Party is a blessing that allows us to show the Democrats in a cyclical pattern of progress between elections how they need to evolve and what policies they need to adopt. In 2016 it was a holding place for people upset with Hillary, so that in 2018 and 2020 the Democrats knew they had to embrace and compromise on policies being pushed by Bernie. In 2024 it is a holding place for people upset about foreign policy so that in 2026 and 2028 politicians that want to advance their careers speak radically differently about Israel than how it is currently spoken of.

I'm MORE impressed by the Muslim faith, though. I, too, read Malcolm X's autobiography. I'm a slow reader, it took me two days(!) I was MOST impressed by the fact that Malcolm only thought that black and white would NEVER mix, except when adding cream to coffee(!) Later on, when he went to Mecca, he marveled at all the different races, together, making the circuits around the Kaaba. I believe he experienced an epiphany. He came back to the U.S. a profoundly changed man, with a higher calling.

Thanks again to this channel for inviting such eloquent Muslim voices like Prof. Butch Ware and Dr. Hassan Abdel Salam. There is a need to listen more to what such a part of this community has to say.
Prof. Butch Ware delivered an intelligent, wise, and passionate message. It convinces me because it is sincerely dedicated to the struggle against (white) supremacy, violent hegemony, social justice, and inclusion.
Every empire and colonial outpost will eventually fall. The American Empire is no exception. Historically, the downfall has already started and is accelerating dramatically. I am already a senior citizen. According to realistic scenarios and probability, a significant part of this downgrading process will be completed within my lifetime. As a comparison, it took centuries for the Roman Empire to become history (i.e. until the last remnants of its effective Power Structure were gone).
Let us hope, as Prof. Butch Ware expressed, that the USA will be able to find a peaceful and constructive path to re-invent the country for the sake of its people and the rest of the World.
Everybody is invited to think for themselves and make the right choice after assessing the current situation in this World (the Dunia). As Prof. Butch Ware rightly mentioned, everyone must ALSO be able to justify their actions in the face of Eternity (what Muslims would maybe name the Achira). I would never subscribe to Genocide, whatever benefits may be provided otherwise.
