As we navigated through the beautiful coastal landscapes, our detour led us to a stunning beach. Walking along the shoreline, with the waves crashing at our feet and the sun painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, we were reminded of the raw beauty of nature and the serenity it brings.
Upon reaching our destination for the night, we stumbled upon a strange yet intriguing hostel. Its unique architecture and quirky ambiance added an element of mystery to our pilgrimage. From shared stories around a bonfire to bonding with fellow travelers from around the world, this unexpected stop became a memorable highlight of our journey.

One of the highlights of my Camino Francés last summer was sitting in the small chapels, quietly praying and reflecting.
The silence and being at peace with one's self was rather strange to be fair?
Was I missing something??

to be quiet, reflect and engage in a spiritual pursuit is strange as it is often not our normal rhythm of life - I love to add scripture into these moments as it bring focus to my thoughts and refections and centres me on God
