    Thank you! So it doesn’t need to be a laser printer like most other transfers?

    Thank you! This is the method I learned a few years ago but could not remember the name of the solution or to apply a thin layer.

    Would I be able to use clear transparancy film from amazon like the ones used for projectors with a laser jet printer and the fluid? Would that work?

    • @sddd42000
      @sddd42000  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No that will not work.

    I suspect the transfer fluid is a weak pale shellac solution or a weak glycerine solution. Inkjet transparency film is i believe coated with glycerine to create a surface for ink to adhere to but its not as good as paper so the ink can be easily shifted from the transparency surface.

      @@sddd42000 I use a weak shellac solution which when dry i rough up with 1000grit it will then make a surface which will take pencil drawing on.

    you can do that with any varnish - no need to buy expensive stuff- but of course, this is another selling stuff video like 80% of youtube vids

      Damar varnish is really cheap, tried some others that didnt do anything. Needs to be sticky like tree sap :)
