Happened across your channel when I saw this song, I enjoy seeing others' impressions to one of my favorite renditions to one of my favorite groups playing one of my favorite songs. I have watched/listened to this version enough times to know exactly what is coming next both visually and audibly, and yet every time I am still drawn into it as if in a trance. You would probably enjoy almost any video from the Pulse concert.
Same.
The whole Pulse concert is thrilling to watch. I suggest checking out 'Sorrow' next; it features another great David Gilmour guitar solo.
she is right sorrow is nothing short of AWESOME.....
good call sara.....
I've seen Pink Floyd four times in three different decades twice in the 70s once an 87 and this 94 Pulse concert All In person! It's standard for nobody to move at a Pink Floyd concert because they are completely mesmerizing!! Also in this 94 Pulse concert every song that they play is another group's finale! Try just about any song in this concert but I would recommend songs like "Sorrow" "One of These Days", "High Hopes" or "Run Like Hell" which is the finale! They're all dazzling and eye-opening!
Pink Floyd is Legendary Rock Band, they are unique and an Experience! I've been a Pink Floyd fan since the release of their "Dark Side of the Moon" albumin 1973, I was 17 years old. I've seen them twice live, one time was the incredible, phenomenal The Wall Concert/Play/Performance in 1980. An unbelievable experience!
Pink Floyd is a Blues based Rock band formed in London in 1964, their sub-category is Progressive Rock or Psychedelic Rock. They've sold over 400 million albums worldwide, more than any other Rock Band in history, except The Beatles.
If you plan on going down that Pink Floyd rabbit hole, you're in for a heap of musical awesomeness! I'd recommend some more songs from this 1994 Pulse Concert at Earls Court London, like "Sorrow", "High Hopes", "Learning to Fly", "Money" and more.
Also, their Iconic "Dark Side of the Moon" album is a must for any aspiring PF fan, that album has sold over 50 million copies alone, and is considered by many as the GOAT Rock album. It set a record for most weeks on the Billboard Top Rock Albums of all Time list at 962 weeks! That's over 18 years, more than double the 2nd place artist. The album also went 14X Platinum.
I wish I had seen Pink Floyd in concert, but I never got the chance. To all the Pink Floyd fans out there, I really envy you. I’ve seen close to 75 concerts over the years, but I really regret never experiencing what you guys did.
It actually was a disco ball, that's why they turned it into a squid.
I was there.. Earl's Court London 1994 🎸🥰
i saw animals live in 78 and thewall in 80 when someone says how they do this or that i give the same answer they can do all they do because they are PINK FLOYD
Indy '94, still have my ticket stub!
Ticket stubs are great souvenirs.
I was there stood right in front of a speaker directly faceing the front of the stage SAY NO MORE
I bet that was quite the experience
Pink Floyd are brilliantly different.
If you want to try another element of Pink Floyd, they won awards for production value in the studio, try studio versions of Hey You, Time, or The Great Gig In The Sky, can't wait to see your face when you do this one
Know as one of the greatest guitar solos of all time
Iconic
For sure!
You don't listen to Pink Floyd... you experience them
That be the truth!
Glad ya liked it. Thanks for sharing.
You bet
First tune on a real stereo I heard when I was young, Time. Pink Floyd has been my band my whole life. I grew up with them. Gilmour in my opinion is the greatest guitar player ever. Creating sounds no one else ever has. Oh by the way, which one's Pink?
Dammit, it's the remastered version. The original was better IMHO because it focused more on the atmosphere instead of focusing on David "Call him God because he is" Gilmour. Don't get me wrong, he's probably my favourite musician of all-time but Pink Floyd concerts are about the atmoshpere and ambiance created by the lights and music.
Whole screen was red
Sorry, I need to adjust that in future videos.
If you haven't been to a Pink Floyd concert, you haven't been to a real rock concert.
Pink Floyd is definitely in a genre of their own.
