Make sure you mount it as low and close to the tank as possible….prefferably below the fluid level in the tank , if you want the pump to last and not burn up!!
Could you have just cut the fuel line at the bend before it turns to the passenger side..and put a compression AN fitting? So you wouldnt have a hard turn AN fitting.
You'd need the line to have a flare. But, I could have cut the line way down towards where it first comes down over the top of the tank and just ran a rubber line to the filter.

Do you think a Ratcheting-PVC-Cutter would cut that PTFE Fuel Line nice and neatly? I use one to cut regular heater hoses to get a nice clean cut.
