It means so much to see one of my favourite TH-cam channels since I was a little 'un playing a fan-game I and my bestie (Kruithne) created :). This video alone has inspired us to get to work on updating the game with the new locations (Neither of us had played since Shadowlands), and add what seems to be a much-requested feature - a scorebased mode. Glad you two seemed to enjoy it (and sorry about Shattrath, Simon!)
As an old school Yogs enjoyer AND OG WoW player who learned about your guys through your guides, watching this genuinely brought a tear to my eye. Thanks you guys, including Simon, Lewis, Sarah, and the editors who brought this content to us. What a nostalgia trip lmao
For anyone who knows the lore, the ruins are a dead giveaway. Teldrassil has only been around since post Warcraft 3, or in other words not too long before day 1 WoW on the timeline, so it isn't old enough to be covered in ruins. Had Lewis known this, he'd be right with Simon about it being somewhere on the mainland.
Getting not just the zone but the right questing area every time is impressive, especially Simon guessing Ashenvale. I 100% thought it was Teldrassill.
I thought it might be Darkshore. I've created enough Night Elf alts to know that it was not a place in Teldrassill, but I did not play much in Darkshore or Ashenvale XD
A classical yogscast experience, bringing me back to the age of 12 :) a stellar video!!! Would love to see more Lewis/Simon content in the future like this!!! 😄
Every time they were just saying "screw it, it's around here" and then could have just looked for defining characteristics in the picture! That last place was RIGHT beside a 4 way intersection in the road... and they drop the pin nowhere near any. It's not always that obvious, but that one was VERY clear.
yes please more good old wow content. this is what I started watching and listening for all those years ago. feels so nice seeing Simon and Lewis talk about or play way
I got into Yogscast in 2011 when Minecraft beta was released. I was 23 at the time and absolutely loved the Lewis and Simon Minecraft videos. At 34, I'm so happy and nostalgic to see them together and talking games (big WoW player) again. :)
The Hillsbrad Foothills mine is a part of the "Battle of Hillsbrad" Horde quest line (and "Dangerous!") from Tarren Mill. I hate that I know that and that I recognised all the locations, even the WoD one.
90 completed with 95% accuracy. There's some really obscure ones you would never go to normally. Like The Isle of dread in feralas, the Dwarven farm beyond the mountains east of arathi highlands, Hyjal Crater, Darkwhisper Gorge in Winterspring, Deadwind pass. So ofc what did me in was some horde questgiver in Stonetalon peak.
I'm not a WoW guy, but I click for Simon and Lewis! I feel like if you get the wrong zone you get no points, but if you're in the right zone it should give you points based on distance like in geoguessr
Been watching since 07 for the guides you guys used to do for achievements! Such a treat to hear you guys talk wow again, I know its unlikely but a lewis and simon playthrough of Dragonflight would be like a second renaissance imo
_Chatting_ Oh wow the nostalgia... _Chatting_ It's been 84 years... _Chatting_ Be still my weeping heart... _Chatting_ Simon and Lewis are still alive???
YOGSCAST world of warcraft... my childhood returned. True story, I first started playing WoW on the Khaz Modan server because Simon would say "Honeydew of Khaz Modan" or something like that, so I thought that was the server they played on. Totally wrong, of course, but true and real.
Are you guys billionaires now? This is the first I've seen of you since early cata and the YogPod, and you're in a coloured lit studio getting other people to que your reactions with all safe professional editing. Honestly well done you've outlasted 99% of other content creators from that era.
The original yogscast intro, when they were playing WOW. Simon just, "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggggg." I don't think a lot of people remember that original WOW Cataclysm series.
Nice to see some variety on the channel! It's always been TTT or GTA only. How about minecraft challenges? Lucky blocks and stuff? Also, I've clearly been playing too much wow when I knew every spot with pixel precision!
Lewis and Simon talking about World of Warcraft... It's like a blast from the past, a glimpse into the old... Now for another month of mass produced TTT and GTA content, God do I wish things were different.
been a good 10 years since I stopped playing WoW, after playing since Naxx launched, and I had mostly forgotten how bad the old wow looked. Huge blast of nostalgia watching this - WoW was the reason I found the yogscast during the ICC days and watched most they've done since (and before)
There is another one which is very similar to actual geoguessr, it scores you based on distance and there is even multiplayer!! You should definitely try it out and see who does best, maybe even invite other yogs!!
I came down to comments to yell at Lewis for talking Simon into choosing the wrong side of the Bone Wastes, but seeing Simon pick a spot *just* outside the circle in Shattrath Lower City, and then both improve significantly afterwards improved my mood again.
There's a version of this which is much closer to geoguessr called lostgamer. It has a scoring system, multiplayer mode and maps from a few different games (including WoW). I am not sponsored.

Amazing work, very well done.
Score system does indeed needed
💜
Well done!
Yes score based mode pls. Was sad seeing them get a bit fat 0 for so many guesses juuust outside the circle!
Goddamn, hearing Simon and Lewis talk about WoW like this? All we'd need would be the toaster mics...
Oh gosh my nostalgia-
Yeah, and if Lewis was a bit timid. He’s so confident nowadays. Which is good! But yeah, like u say, the nostalgia
it brings tears to a grown man's eyes
"mother of gosh"
Toaster mics really kinda set the whole mood, hasn’t been the same since.
If you close your eyes, it almost feels like nothings changed at all.
Simon so disheartened for not getting the locations LOL
This was fun!
Always could use more Lewis and Simon in my life
As an old school Yogs enjoyer AND OG WoW player who learned about your guys through your guides, watching this genuinely brought a tear to my eye. Thanks you guys, including Simon, Lewis, Sarah, and the editors who brought this content to us. What a nostalgia trip lmao
3:01 Lewis is only truly calm and comfortable when he's strangling a dog

A day with Simon back, is a good day in my book
Getting not just the zone but the right questing area every time is impressive, especially Simon guessing Ashenvale. I 100% thought it was Teldrassill.
I thought it might be Darkshore.
I've created enough Night Elf alts to know that it was not a place in Teldrassill, but I did not play much in Darkshore or Ashenvale XD
I also was sure it had to be Teldrassill
Would love to see Lewis and Simon play regular Geoguessr too
They have an entire playlist of it (from nearly a decade ago), just search Yogscast Geoguessr
They did years ago!
@@GaranSOIahhh, the days when Geoguessr was free…
Yeah that one time Duncan played on jingle jam live stream was really fun
Would also love to see them shop for a new car.. but that's not the real question is it?
Sarah's tomato red face during Jam still continues to inspire my inner well being.
There is another version you should try that allows you to actually move around like regular geoguesser and has scoring.
I'd love more of this. Yogscast came from WoW so it's nice to see y'all coming back to it for a bit
13:21 I have never identified with somone as much as I did with Simon in this moment.
Classic! That takes me back to my university days as a junior member of Ye Olde Goon Squad. How you guys have grown since then.
A classical yogscast experience, bringing me back to the age of 12 :) a stellar video!!! Would love to see more Lewis/Simon content in the future like this!!! 😄
I've been binge watching their old playthroughs for nostalgia... seeing this blew my mind and my heart :)
Oh my, more of this please!
Simon and Lewis is always something I re-watch multiple times, but combined with wow?
That's a winning combination!
Been awhile since I saw the classic duo. Glad to see them together again. Made my day.
I see Simon & Lewis, I click.
God I hope we get an old school playthrough of Simon in Starfield while Lewis commentates 😫😫😫
PLEASE 🙏
yes please, more of this. it's great listening to you talking about what you did in the different areas you played in :)
It’s incredible knowing how well they know the world of Warcraft. Been playing it for years and I didn’t know half of these locations.
Every time they were just saying "screw it, it's around here" and then could have just looked for defining characteristics in the picture! That last place was RIGHT beside a 4 way intersection in the road... and they drop the pin nowhere near any. It's not always that obvious, but that one was VERY clear.

bluexephos flashbacks hit hard

Aww, man, I knew the location of that last one based on the four roads/path. That one hurt.
that Shattrath guess just SENT me 😂
Love you guys thank you for the content ❤
My sentiments exactly. Can't agree more and upvote enough.
Interesting bots lmao
Yes... "upvote"
Finally after 13 years.
OH IT HAS BEEN 13 YEARS
I'm proud/ashamed that I knew exactly where all of those locations in vanilla/tbc expansion were. Haven't played wow in so so many years lol
This makes me feel old and I absolutely miss the podcasts
Lewis: I love this, I love this.
Video: ends
They were unusually serious and focused in this one
90 completed with 95% accuracy.

Disappointed Lewis didn't take the opportunity to say "in the world of Warcraft".
YES INJECT THE NOSTALGIA STRAIGHT INTO MY VEINS, but seriously this was fun to watch
My favourite Main Channel vid in ages!
I'm not a WoW guy, but I click for Simon and Lewis!
I feel like if you get the wrong zone you get no points, but if you're in the right zone it should give you points based on distance like in geoguessr
Why am I, 15 years later, knowing the answers to these locations still? Help me, so many things I could have remembered instead.
I might have to become a member now. That Zylus and Rythian video has to be amazing.
Used to play on their server back in the day. TVC. Lewis forgetting his arrows in Sunwell is iconic
I could watch an entire hour of all the Yog wow nerds playing this, even though most of it goes over my head. So entertaining 👌
nostalgia hit me like a brick oh my god
I instantly knew where the first couple were. I don't know how i feel about that
This vid feels classic yoglads
Been watching since 07 for the guides you guys used to do for achievements! Such a treat to hear you guys talk wow again, I know its unlikely but a lewis and simon playthrough of Dragonflight would be like a second renaissance imo
TL;DW: "I have no memory of this place"
I'm glad they decided to play this! Throwback to the old days!
lol the "You failed
_Chatting_ Oh wow the nostalgia...
_Chatting_ It's been 84 years...
_Chatting_ Be still my weeping heart...
_Chatting_ Simon and Lewis are still alive???
Thank you for this, loved hearing you guys talk about WoW again
“I went through the stages of grief”
“You skipped straight to anger though, you skipped like-“
“NO I DIDN’T”
I thought I trekked the entire breadth of warcraft, this made me realize I haven't
YOGSCAST world of warcraft... my childhood returned.

The scoring system in this game is ass. I hope they fix it and Lewis & Simon can give it another chance
Simon did well to get so close to the right answer so many times.
With how harsh the judging system is I’m shocked that they managed to get one at all
This was produced very well!
This was so awesome, please do this more
The original yogscast intro, when they were playing WOW. Simon just, "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggggg." I don't think a lot of people remember that original WOW Cataclysm series.
It's horryfying, I can guess where I am within seconds without moving, in the full version with everything included.
I really want to see Zylus and Rythian do this...
Me too. Unfortunately they locked a bunch of fun stuff like that behind a pay wall.
So happy to see Simon again.
Where is PP? It's been over 2 months now since the last one.
Nice to see some variety on the channel! It's always been TTT or GTA only. How about minecraft challenges? Lucky blocks and stuff?
Also, I've clearly been playing too much wow when I knew every spot with pixel precision!

1000 ‘nostalgia hit me like a brick’ comments incoming :
Seriously though really happy to see this kinda content : )
The lil you failed ribbon was so cute
Big ups Sarah for some 10/10 editing on this badboy
RIP the Goonsquad, many a fond memory.

I was in tears of laughter at 9:20 🤣
I want an R&M style interdimensional TH-cam where we can watch 10 years of Simon and Lewis playing WoW
Nostalgia hit me like aerogel.
I didn't play WoW.
"it's like geoguessr, but to places where we've been"
There is another one which is very similar to actual geoguessr, it scores you based on distance and there is even multiplayer!! You should definitely try it out and see who does best, maybe even invite other yogs!!

I do love some classic YogPod action.
Sweeet! Been watching your old cata vids lately for the great chat
Simon is so funny. He just seems like he’d light up a room lol
I knew all of them except for the last one. Nostalgia is a real thing I guess. :)
Plz want more of this!
Even though I've barely played WOW I thoroughly enjoyed this :)
This is excellent. Please make this a regular thing. XD
it's good to see simon again
lol that second one is so easy as Horde... Dangerous! and whatever the citizens of Hillsbrad follow-up was called
I need more Simon and Lewis
This was so fun to watch
this was FAN-TASTIC!
good to see wow content again !! takes me back !
Awesome...so good to see them again
Please more of this!
haven't seen these guys from shaow of israphel, started to tear up a bit seeing them age
love me some simon and lewis content
The legends, loving this!

I am not sponsored.
Even though I’ve never watched or played WOW i think this was pretty fun
this is like, nostalgia from the really old times of the channel, hot damn... lol
