Agreed I was thinking the same thing, I however didn’t know that the people that made West Hunt made another Among Us styled game (it’s kinda more like Guess Who in G-mod mixed with Among us.)
if I remember correct that randomat makes half the group traitor and the other half glitchs. This makes the traitors begin using traitors weapons without restraint. Making the the round in to a massacre of the glitchs. so in theory Yes, in practise No.
@@maltek1542 I'm afraid you don't remember correctly. It turned the Innocents into Glitches and the Traitors into Basic Traitors, preserving the team ratio. Rythian ended up teaming up with Lewis and they kinda massacred everyone else because Lewis missed Rythian outing himself as a traitor and Rythian incorrectly took that as a sign that he was his Traitor Buddy.
I love when they play with prox chat, but I imagine its a lot more work for the editors. On the other hand however, if theres multiple conversations going on at once it's less recording time and longer vids.

Proximity chat may be more "immersive", but it's horrendous as a viewer with all the varying volumes, missing out on fun reactions, and games having crappy compression/processing compared to their normal professional setup. I hate it and if there's prox chat I just don't watch ever.
This is a fun sort of change of pace to watch, I'd love to see more of this. Also I am here for Ben trying the old "I called the meeting" play and getting immediately ganked for it
i like actually looked it up the creator of those assets on the unity store is called synty studios also the asset pack "POLYGON Apocalypse - Low Poly 3D Art by Synty" the one this game uses is 300usd
This game is really neat but seems to have some major balance issues, especially since if the traitor doesn't show up to the meeting they have a chance to kill people for free. While on the flip side without limited voice range it is an easy call out. I hope they polish up some things.
Killing someone during a meeting is a huge risk. Because it you play with people smarter than the Yogs they would notice someone died during the meeting. Which means everyone that was actually at the meeting is 100% innocent because you aren't suppose to play with more than 1 traitor.
Not only that but the innocents gain quite a bit of power by attending the meeting: They are immune during the meeting; and they have the ability to vote.
He just didn't know what it was. When I saw it I also had no idea. "memory task" what does that mean? Memory what? What do you remember? Duncan also didn't know what it was.

So I assumed, like them, that you press the bottom right button then wait for it to flash and you repeat it. Turns out no.. it's literally just "Match Game" instead. There's little to no memory involved.

Man, I completely overdosed on this asset-pack because of Tom. It's really good, but so many devs have used it to make zombie-games of wildly different quality at this point that I can't help but feel a bit jaded whenever I see it..
I can imagine alot of deaths will happen due to pure incompetence and im very down for that. As someone else motioned do miss dread hunger for that very same reason!
Correction: *Apparently with the current build of the game they were playing, Prox-Chat was non-functional* This is gonna sound pithy but EVERY time they play a new game like this they ALWAYS ignore the in built Proximity chat and it annoys me to no end. Dread Hunger, Project winter even in Among Us for the longest time they would just ghost and complain about how hard it was to win as traitor. These games are designed around the fact that people can't talk to eachother all the time. That's why it's always too hard for the traitors every time they play these games.
I think they all recognise that prox-chat is needed for a game like this like when Duncan complains about it at 23:23, yet someone (probably Lewis) makes the executive decision to record it like they would TTT.

Hence the incredibly powerful weapons, traps and roles they've added over time. It's essentially a Deathmatch Sandbox game where some people know who to shoot and others don't, so it works.

Seemingly, they're not supposed to talk if they are not in the meeting and Duncan outed him as soon as the meeting ended. They seem to be playing with not being in the meeting the same rules as dead people in TTT, no talking.
*So what are the motivations for the traitor exactly?* In trouble in terrorist Town theyre like double agents, in among us there some kind of horrible space monster, so what is the incentive for a living person to allow all the survivors to be killed by zombies? Because when they get voted out they still get jumped on and eaten by zombies. Now that could just be a bug or flavor fail because it would be neet if when you voted out a traitor they are indeed some kind of zombie master, they just stand up and walk off while the zombies pay them hardly any mind. So the game you could just be crap BUT if we are to take all of what we see at face value than the traitor is either some sort of zombie cultist or psychopath who just wants everyone to turn into zombies, or a alien style private agent doing the "we can use that monster as a weapon!" thing and like, trying to get everyone feels they can escape with a zombie or something? That's pretty weak but those aren't our only explanations if this isn't just lazy game dev crapping out among Us clone with cheap assets
Not knowing who your traitor buddy is is an interesting mechanic, they could play with way more traitors and still get innocent wins by voting out the wrong people by accident haha

This game would improve greatly from proximity chat and zombie combat. If the game was less of an Amogus clone, and more of a semi-combat style, it would give traitors a cover to kill / hurt players. Even allowing dead players to spawn as zombies would be really cool. Also Lewis can't read or listen apparently. Is literally killed by Rythian AND confirmed he is traitor, both by him saying it and it showing up on screen, yet Lewis STILL thinks Zylus was bad. 6 Passive Perception.
While this game seems pretty cool, it would be nice if indie devs all stopped using the same unity voxel assets, it just feels like every indie game looks the same now

Yesss a new awesome game. I love these types of games and it sucks when theres only 1-3 episodes then it's back to TtT for another 100 episodes. Would love more Perfect Heist and maybe even among us but I get among us takes longer to edit

I miss the Among Us videos where they showed all their perspectives. And they weren't allowed to talk to each other unless they were in a meeting.

I think the old "Everyone is either a Traitor or a Glitch" randomat accomplished that, but everyone was too confused to figure it out.

I like this game a lot! It took a minute to figure out what was going on and who was who, but it's super fun to watch

Issue is a lot of the deduction games get repetitive quickly due to limited content.
Where thanks to modding TTT has near infinite.

Just to clarify, this build of the game we recorded on had a problem with the prox chat and it didn't work!
