So relatable! This was exactly my story as well at BookMyShow. I was put on extended probation due to poor performance. I distinctly remember that meeting with my manager. It hit me where it hurt and provided the necessary reality check. I never looked back since. Guess, we both needed that kind of push to breakthrough in design :D

This is so inspiring! You've no idea how helpful this is to a jr designer who is working in a small scale startup and doesn't have any peers to look up to or get feedback on the design. At times I get confused about my performance but this video gave me hope. Stick to the basics, keep on improving, put in the hard work and things will fall in place. After being stuck in a corporate job because of financial issues, I finally got my first full-time design job as well. Even though I was really happy as I'm a self-taught designer, I had this feeling of stark dread with respect to not being able to perform as well as the other designers in the company. Everyone starts from being a nobody. Rest depends on what we do. Well, I don't think it was impostor syndrome in my case. In case of Impostor Syndrome, you feel you are not good even when you are probably good. In my case, I was not good at the first place :D The realisation helped me, though.
