- Line and watercolor or line and wash sketching is one of my favourite ways to capture the spirit or idea of a space or building. The loose strokes and soft watercolour washes appeal to me in a way no other medium can.
These are the 10 tips I wanted to share with you regarding this sketching process, whether you are a beginner or have lots of experience, I hope this video was helpful to you in some way. Happy sketching!
Ps: This video is in the vertical format because the majority of you voted for “vertical” in my last poll. Thanks for voting!

Hi, could you make a video of the sketching part? I find that sketching rhe initial drawing is the most daunting task (especially such a detailed and large building like this) . Thanks
The picture you draw with a fountain pen is wonderful ✨
I have a fountain pen that is sleeping, so I think I'll try it too.

Love it! Will you or have you done videos with using watercolour pencil? I have more confidence/control with the pencils but would love some helpful hints. Cheers!
Thank you Louise💓I just did a video about using watercolor pencils actually, it’s the one before this video. Though I don’t use them very often🙂❤️

Hii I really like your videos It really helps me improve🥰 I actually would love to buy the paper that you used on your previous videos What kind of paper do you use?😊
I use many different kinds of paper, you can find which paper it is for each video in the descriptions of the videos 🙂
Lovely. What brand paint do u use?
This one was done with Winsor & Newton Cotman❤️
Hi, which ink do you use for your fountain pen ?
Thanks JA..
Welcome ☺️
Can I please know which brands brushes are you using in your paintings
I listed them in the description, mostly Winsor and newton Cotman brushes
Hello I am newbie it is ok to have 2 brush only for water coloring?
Sure thing! Sometimes I only use one, but it is easier if you have 3-4☺️
I ask what paper did you use to painting and the colors? I'm starting practice painting😅
I am using a sketchbook which I buy from Shopee and Winsor and newton Cotman watercolours. The links to the products are in the video description🤗
What is your reasoning for using a fountain pen vs. other pens?
To me, fountain pens are more comfortable in the hand and I like that you can use it for a long time and change inks too☺️
step one: know how to draw 😂
