sister you are good in drawing..but i thought i am bad in painting and drawing scatching but after seeing your drawing my think fully changed..thanks for the video so that i could find my confidence
I could never draw anything in my life, all was always like scholar first grade 😅. After i found her channel, 2 days ago, i was encouraged to try my first drawing and watercolor painting and it turned out surprisingly good !! I am sooooo excited to try other drawings following her videos! You can try too! ❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤
I like your paintings because it is very simple and easy to complete. Sometimes when i am in the mood to draw something just because i am feeling like bored or not in the mood to do anything difficult.. I choose your channel❤😊
I thoroughly enjoy watching and learning from your videos. I am just reacquainting myself to drawing after a 30 year hiatus. You are a great inspiration! Thank you!
Pretty commendable sketching. To sketch directly with a pen versus a sketch pencil is very brave. 👍 ...I don't think you failed. Infact you created your own signature with this art work. I was told by another artist that no project is a failure. As you create your very own. 💗..thank-you for these lovely tutorial reels. 🙏
It is so soothing and satisfying watching you work, especially with the background music you choose. And I love your explaining your artistic choices. I'm learning a lot from you but also just enjoying the videos.
Just started doing loose urban sketching thanks to your videos. I have all these photos from New Orleans that I can put to use. Thank you for showing us your process.❤❤
Loved it, Jillie! Very much appreciated your musical choices, and it’s nice that you don’t feel the pressure to be chatting it up through the whole process. 😊
Loved your sketch ❤ I also like you keep things simple… timer, brushes, paint etc. & your desk isnt cluttered w/too much stuff that isn’t art related. My favorite brushes are Princeton velvet touch. Thanks for the tip about the filbert brush. I wasn’t sure how to use it. 😊
Jill, You did a great job in the allotted time, you had a hard time with the prop stand. Some of my favorite brushes are bright, cats tongue and angled brushes. I always enjoy your background music.
Charming piece, and great timing! Yesterday I did a sketch I intended to be loose and brief and pretty quickly lost sight of that and ended up with too detailed and too long of a time working on the piece for not the pay off I was looking for. I learn from you so thank you!
Thats why it’s an excercise , I would problably struggle with time too. But I’m going on holliday soon and I’m planing on being able to sketch and paint.
Painted along with you! 2nd one of yours & 4th watercolour this week since not painting for years. Thank you! Would love some more simple beginner friendly ones!
I followed along and did the same line work and watercolor. I love how it came out, exactly what i have been trying to accomplish. One thing I noticed about your style is you do lots of little pen marks that really add a lot of character. Little marks on the windows and doors for example, they add a lot . I have found that I do a good job with the loose pen work, but I have a hard time interpreting what colors to use, what to leave white. On my own works I end up using too much color, filling everything in and I'm not happy with the result. I need to figure out how to loosely add the color. Thanks for sharing, you're helping me progress.
It’s a quick sketch, it’s GREAT, imho; don’t obsess. It’s a “sketchbook”. Try to remember no one is looking at it but you. Out and about urban sketching during a short time means forget a bunch of small details (no time to draw then paint all that) unless they’re the main subject. Everything but buildings move. At home from a pic, different story. You can go for it. 😊 Timing it is a very good idea, it helps develop a sense of being on site where you don’t have all day to get something on the paper. (Unless it’s your day off or something) My general to go kit includes a travel Rafael 3/0 and a Pentel water brush. (Also that itty bitty brush that comes in a Sennelier 8 tin. That brush is like a rigger. Just don’t sneeze or you might lose it. 😅😅😅) The black pallet and 2 pens. Small/medium sketchbook. That’s it. At home I have a few favorite brushes … I like those Princeton Snap brushes and small sized mops with sharp tips.
My dear friend, you are doing amazingly beautiful and great work and I enjoy seeing your work. I hope you will shine with millions of subscribers and I will be with you.❤
I painted with you and I loved the quick yet detailed painting! I added some extra details to the lanterns, and this was such a blast! I food go a lot slower tho 😅
My goal is to draw store fronts such as this. Such beautiful work and it flows so comfortably. I have been struggling with a fruit market I saw in Paris so this sort of work might help. Thanks.
The last stroke which u added after the timer was up was funny 😁I adore ur artworks and i have started to learn from ur videos🥰😍 As u asked about fav brushes for the paintings i make i like to use small tip brush cause my hand get a little shaky and i m a little impatient too so that's why😅
LOVE this! Can you show how you loose sketch a landscape/nature scene, instead of an urban scene? I would loooove to see how you translate your amazing style and technique to drawing a naturescape like mountains or something!
Hi Thanks so much for the great artwork you prepared, I have an ink pen which brand is Pilot when I added the watercolor, the ink disappeared behind it. is it because of the brand of my ink pen? do I have to change my ink pen?
May I ask how long you waited for your ink to dry to apply watercolor? I recently bought the same ink and waited about 5 min but still got a little bit of ink lifting.
Thank you for not trying to "cheat the time" like so many others are tempted to do. I appreciate your honesty. "It is what it is"

I like your paintings because it is very simple and easy to complete. Sometimes when i am in the mood to draw something just because i am feeling like bored or not in the mood to do anything difficult.. I choose your channel❤😊
Another winning video for sure. Thumbnail looks very good. Like the loose look, got character.
Thanks Hockaun, much appreciated!

Thank you 💗🥹
My pleasure ☺️
I love the spontaneity! I think to time yourself is a very good practise so I will have to get a timer.
Thank you! You should definitely try it with a timer😄🩷
Charming piece, and great timing! Yesterday I did a sketch I intended to be loose and brief and pretty quickly lost sight of that and ended up with too detailed and too long of a time working on the piece for not the pay off I was looking for. I learn from you so thank you!
Thank you Beth! Great to hear it’s not just me 😄😂💗💗
Thats why it’s an excercise , I would problably struggle with time too. But I’m going on holliday soon and I’m planing on being able to sketch and paint.
Indeed, we all struggle with too little time, so practising to sketch faster is definitely worth it 🤗
Lovely activity to loosen up.
Adoro a tua arte! Fantástico! ❤

Hope you find it freeing!☺️

Refreshing
Thank you😄❤
You should do ASMR videos, the sound of your pen on the paper is so relaxing-more than the elevator music!
very nice painting. May I ask where you got the mixing tray from ?
Thank you, it’s from Daiso Japan😊
👏 bravo wanderawsum😂
Thank you ☺️
Super like! where did you get the book holder?
Bought online in Shopee, it’s a handphone holder actually
Hi Thanks so much for the great artwork you prepared, I have an ink pen which brand is Pilot when I added the watercolor, the ink disappeared behind it. is it because of the brand of my ink pen? do I have to change my ink pen?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍thank you
Very beautiful my dear friend and artist
I subscribed to your channel
Thank you dear friend and artist💓
You were moving so fast you didn't see the ant crawling on your page lol
Lol, was there an ant??😂
I am curious about what kind of ink you used? My ink would get dissolved with the water 😢
May I ask how long you waited for your ink to dry to apply watercolor? I recently bought the same ink and waited about 5 min but still got a little bit of ink lifting.
Merci pour tes vidéos❤. L'encre que tu utilises résiste à l'eau ?
Je viens d'avoir ta réponse dans la video😂
Yes the ink is water resistant 😄
I like your ceramic palette! Where from?
Daiso, Japan
Putting a timer gives me anxiety. I had to mute your video 😅but love the art work.
❤ your videos 😊, I have ZERO knowledge about water colour😢.
So can you make a video for most basic techniques.
Thank You❤
Thank you❤️ Ok, will do more basic videos😊
Hi! Can you suggest brands oaf pens with waterproof ink please :)
