This was a massive food tour that took multiple days to film - but I'm sure there are dishes I would've missed! What are you favourites? What are some I've missed? Let me know! :)
Of the ones you tried, I like the masala dosa for breakfast. For dinner I like the chicken biriyani and also the butter chicken. For vegetables, I recommend the aloo gobi, and also an okra dish ( forgot the name). You ought to try the southern seafood curries. The tandoori kebabs are also very delicious
Gotta have the Dosa's and the street food stuff, the explosion of flavors in your mouth is incredible! Try Tandoori Lamb Chops or Leg of Lamb, anything cooked in a Clay oven tastes great! Cool video!
it really is! can't believe i've never had dosa's before this video i gotta branch out to try Indian dishes with other meats, i always stick to butter chicken but Tandoori Lamb chops sound delish!

If you eat the naan straight out of the tandoor oven, before eating the rice, it is crispy and not chewy. It becomes chewy when it starts becoming cold.
The food looked amazing , I was lucky to go to India and stayed in Delhi with an Indian family , all vegetarian food as they were Hindus all home cooking the food was amazing also the best ice cream I have tasted no ice cream machine still don't know how she made it. The poverty was a bit of a shock to the system but amazing friendly people very welcoming and definitely a place to visit . Nice vlog as always stay safe
i've never been to India, but really do hope to go one day. the food tasted as amazing as they looked :) im with you regarding the ice-cream! it was incredibly creamy - and so delish!

Hi Janice, this is my food heaven. I love Indian food back here in the UK. The food there looks a bit different and would love to try it. Especially the pani puri. 😁😁
Went to ChatKazz tonight and ordered all your recommended dishes! Everything was so amazing and I was so surprised how everything was vegetarian. Thank you so much Janice!!!! Going to leave a positive Google review for their restaurant and mention your channel. 😊😊😊
That’s awesome Nikki! When I first went I thought the same, because everything was so incredibly flavourful. Thanks for letting me know Nikki, I’m so glad you liked it !! ☺️
Janice, this food all look so delicious. I love Indian food. I noticed you did not try my favourite dishes like Sag / Palak Paneer (Green leafy vegetables / Spinach with Cottage Cheese) with Garlic Naan. I would really recommend you try one of these Paneers, it may not look pretty but it is very tasty.
I never say NO to Indian food haha, love it so much! Pistachio Kulfi looks soo good, we love pistachio so much, so it's like milk ice pistachio ice cream?
Janice that’s another amazing video from you! The cheesy curry is Bombay Street food called Pav Bhaji definitely one of my favorite .. you ate Dosas in the first two restaurants and both were served with “ Sambhar “ which is like a lentil stew. I like chaatkaaz as its my favorite
Hi Janice! I would like to say that you’re my best influencer and I also live in Sydney. I live in Concord and when watching your videos, I can always relate to you and in ur seafood video when u spoke Cantonese, I could understand because I speak it as well. I can fully relate to you and Strathfield is my fav Suburb and you deserve more love and likes! Keep doing what you’re doing!
yay! Indian food is awesome. I love British Indian food, it's a bit different to authentic Indian food but I love it. I'm guessing the Indian food in Australia is more authentic. everything looked great and the dosa reminded me of what I go in Malaysia.
Woah, you just got my spidey senses tingling for Indian food. I'm from India and it's been a long time since I visited a good place, so this video is what I'm following on the weekend. :)
Thanks for the recommendation love it, always wanted to try Pani Puri only watch it on Indian Street food and they're making them so fast, no idea how they keeping track of who's eating what. if i ever become a vegetarian, will def going the Indian route. Next challenge for Janice, try to make a Dosa. My success rate is not very good.
Ah! Missed A2B restaurant’s food. It’s a South Indian based restaurant with lots of yummy variety foodstuff. Drop in on a weekend I will give you the tour.
Well I'm an Indian and I get to eat all this food almost everyday. Sometimes I kinda feel lucky that I'm an Indian and I can eat all this food without going to any restraunts.
to try a really amazing dessert, check out haveli in harris park but don't go inside the restaurant. Outside the restaurant, there is a tent gazebo thing and two gentlemen will be frying an AMAZING indian dessert called jalebi. You can order it and eat it fresh, and you can ask for it however crispy or sweet you want!!! TRUST ME BEST AND MOST AUTHENTIC INDIAN DISH IVE HAD AND IM AS BROWN AS THEY COME XD
I've been meaning to actually try Indian food at restaurants in Sydney and this is the perfect video for it omg. Gonna explore all the other eats and finally branch out. Cheers for all the detailed info in the description box, love it all keep it up!!!! 😊😊
Ended up going to Chaatkaz last night and definitely over ordered for 5 😅. From your list I tried the pani puri, samosas, TWO dosas, biryani, chhole batura, dahi vada + many others. Very enjoyable experience and will be checking out other restaurants when all this dies down :)
I only ate once at an Indian restaurant in Sydney and I unfortunately, can't remember the name. It was beside the Hotel at World Square and it was quite good. I love Indian cuisine so I took note of the your suggestions for a future trip to Australia.
@@JaniceFung Not just tacos; gorditas, tlacoyo, tamales, nachos, cactus salad, cafe de olla (Mexican coffee) and I know you like your coffee! Plus I think there's a Tella Balls around the corner 5 minutes away.
Wow! Loved the video :). I am an Indian who stayed in Sydney for a year and have gone back a couple of times. Chatkaaz is absolutely amazing! In fact we ordered no onion garlic food for my mother and that too was delicious! Among others Maya da dhaba in Surrey Hills was really good - both the places there; then there was Aki’s in Wooloomooloo which was amazing...I hear it’s closed now; Surjits on Paramatta road was really good too and in a more fine dining capacity, Zaffran at Darling Harbour was truly the best. Hope you get a chance to visit these :)
Dear Janice,Thanks for reviewing Indian restaurants in Sydney. It looks better than Indian in terms of presentation and hygiene and quality. So much to say the competition is fierce in the Restaurant industry. Keep up the good work going. Best wishes from India. Arun
The Indian food here is certainly very different to other places in the world. If you could try one in the UK you’d meltttt they are so good nothing compares in Aus. I miss it so much! We’re known for a Saturday night ‘ruby Murry’ (curry) seems to be Thai that’s the main takeaway here...

Indian food must be had very slowly and in small bites and chewed slowly for two main reasons. Because if it is very spicy then all the spice down the throat can mess up your system It is best to let the spice burn your tongue and mouth and that releases more saliva and it a does the job of alleviating the spice heat and also help you gradually get more and more used to the spice and its heat. Saliva is far better than water to deal with spice heat which only fills up your belly with out really doing anything much. Second reason is that you will miss out on all the flavors packed into the food if you gulp down Indian food and drinks. You must enjoy it slowly so that the flavors linger on in the mouth longer.
Indian sauces are not dipping sauces.. they are more like mixing sauces.. u are supposed to mix them all in a way u want... u can balance out the spiece with them

Yes rava dosa is the best form of dosa
This is a restaurant with foods from different parts of India, and little bit of fusion. So I don’t think they would have rava dosa.
