  • In this video I show how I turned a skateboard helmet into a RedBull paramotor helmet with built in bluetooth comms and I soldered in an external mic lead for my Drift HD Ghost action camera.

You did a great job there, man! Can you please tell me the decal sizes (front back and side)? Thanks a lot!

Nice work, it looks great, but I’ve got a question and a comment. Are you a Red Bull endorsed athlete or getting paid to rep Red Bull or just a big fan? I don’t really understand why so many people spend money to advertise for brands that they pay full price for their products. And my comment: having built my first PPG helmet on the same Bern skateboard helmet frame, know that if you use it enough, it’ll likely fall apart just under the weight of the ear cups in as littke as a year. There is SO little plastic to this helmet. For your next one consider the Exfil SAR helmet from Team Wendy. It’s legit. Team Wendy also makes the best radio harness out there. Blue Skies!

Thanks man. Lol. No one yet. I wish I would have put a few more coats of clear on though. The ear cups are showing a little wear already. Oh well. It was a learning experience anyway.
