Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.
The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone.

Lee.....you are helping to heal the world Bro!🙏🏾At any rate...I am free and very...very...happy now......however, the dismantling started on our wedding day and continued until I divorced him. I didn't know what a NARC was. I mean...I had never heard of NPD or met anyone with NPD. I had worked very hard...as most brides do....to look stunning on my wedding day. He started by going on and on about how my bridesmaid looked like Hollywood glamour and didn't compliment me once. Ok.....on our honeymoon night....he started an argument as I was changing to now be intimate with my new, husband of why was I taking a shower (after a long wedding day) that he didn't want to hear any noise so we could wake up on time for the flight the next day? Ok....yeah....all of it was a hot ass mess!😂

When you try to join in a conversation they're having with a mutual friend and they won't acknowledge anything you say, or even look in your direction,they might be a narcissist.
My ex told me what he loved most about me was I was low maintenance. He’s so aloof he doesn’t understand there is no such thing as a low maintenance woman. My daughter rolled her eyes in disgust.
Backhanded compliments were all I got! "I'd say you look good but it may go to your head." & "You are pretty smart for a girl."

@KelliBar Riggghht! Who compliments and insults you all in the same sentence? Then expect you not to comprehend. Then quickly tries to justify and say that you took it the wrong way or misunderstood it. Make it make sense..... 🙄

Long time ago, I was with a communal narcissist. He calls himself a feminist, animal rights activist, & whatever rights activist, yet treated me like dirt. He also post on social media about these subjects, but he's the opposite of who he says he is. He also never compliments me. only give half ass compliments when he needs something. Most of the time insults me even when something bad happens to me, he'll laugh about it and insults me to add to the injury. I used to think people into charities are good people, but now I know. I learned that the concern is the tell all whenever i hear "where you going?" I know im looking and smelling good.. i definitely did a experiment and it happens everytime 😅... got my hair done and the first thing said you wanna act funny cause you got your hair done 😂😂

This topic is bringing back some bad memories.
I remember years ago he was complementing the various skin tones of Asian women as we were stationed in Japan for 5 1/2 years. Through the years he had alluded to my skin tone as not being ideal in his own way, never blatantly. But while living in Japan, he was talking about the sun kissed skin tone of certain Asian races compared to other hues of Asian races. He was speaking as if he was in a poetic trance. I feel so uncomfortable and like I was in a twilight zone. mind you he had been my husband for about 16 years at this tim, but we have known each other for 26 years at that point. I have so many examples off of this one video of different things that I’ve gone through related to this very topic.
He got so tight when a girl in the elevator told me that I was pretty and paid ZERO attention to him

Wow! That's crazy! My ex didn't give me compliments, and I would ask him why that was, he would tell me because I wanted him to boost my ego and that if I didn't have self confidence or a high self esteem that that was a "you" problem. Then when I would dress down he would tell me, I like the sport look on you. And I would say, when we go out that I dress feminine, you never give me a compliment, and he said, well, I'm not into all the extra stuff, like makeup and shit. And would say, I give you a compliment but because it's not how you want it it's not good enough.
And crazy shit it was total projection! I would always rub him and tell him he was sexy, and evidently, I "boosted" his ego so much he swore he could get any other woman he wanted. He even told me, I'm not used to being with a woman that complements me like that. Whenever he would get dressed up, haircut, or anything new he would give me a look, like a little kid, wanting me to flatter him! And it got to a point I stopped giving him compliments. And he noticed it, but obviously didn't say anything about it.

Yep… when my met bf we complement me all the time how I looked in my uniform then it turned to. I’m trying to look good for the police officers. Like whattttt we all wear uniforms it was insane like I met you with my uniform on 😂😂😂 diabolical

I was so busy uplifting the narcissist I never noticed I didn’t get any compliments. The thing that gets me is that I would get compliments from other people and the narcissist would get mad.

@JanetMitchell-y8i I am saying I'm sorry in the purest form. But please know you're probably in a better spot without them. I am trying to get my ducks in a row to get rid of the one who lives here. I don't want to be the villan, I just wished it could be a good compromise for both. But until I find out how to go about this, I am just completely stuck. If I were you I would try and heal and just be happy, life is just too dag gone short. My heart is with you....
