Hiya Noraly! Welcome back. I'm not the expert, but those guards may be better as they look to be further away from the engine therefore more space between the ground and the precious heart of the motorcycle (the enine).
Thanks for the history lesson on French settlers.
Interesting area with fossils. I have read that the remains or bones of the oldest humans have been discovered on the continent of Africa from where we all were supposed to have branched off.
Lovely drone sequence as usual. Always look forward to these, especially that "Mind Blowing" shot of the sun reflecting on the ocean. 🤯🤯🤯

Well that’s it, I’m almost eighty but I’m buying me a Honda 250L and headin out! I’ve put approximately 20K on two scooters in the past and thought I was done ( too old ),,,maybe that was a mistake. Have you ever read the poem “ Do not go gentle into that good night “ that sentence is like a siren in my brain after watching this young ladies adventures. For years friends and sons urged me to stop riding my scooters, so I finally sold them. Since then I sit comfortably in my chair watching Videos of others living their passion. This straddle lounger I sit in is like a comfortable coffin.

Correction. The Dutch brought grapes to the Cape and were already making wine and Brandy when the French arrived. They brought with their French way of wine making along with some of their grape varieties but were not the first to introduce grapes and wine to the region. And nothing wrong with the Dutch history with regards to the French. Being persecuted in their own motherland France, were offered freedom and amazing land and opportunities in South Africa.

Many of the Huguenots also went to the Channel Islands (in the English Channel). My family, the Bisson family, was one of the original families to settle in Jersey. In Normandy the name was Buisson, but they changed the spelling when they registered their coat of arms. The shield contains a bush (Buisson in French) on an island... Buisson is the French word for bush.
