Way more dangerous than you realize. You can tell by the concern seen on the other motorcyclist's face when they were around the lions. Read any of the writings about Africa from Robert Ruark, or especially Peter Capstick and you will really understand how risky that was. I'm not sure Noraly was aware of that. Noraly's done some absolutely amazing episodes in her time, but this has to be up there with the best she's ever done. This is high level documentary footage, but it's from such a unique perspective, a lot more raw and real than your average Nat Geo doc. It is almost unheard of for somebody to be allowed to ride a bike like this through a live game reserve and film the footage. What it shows you is so close to what our early ancestors must've saw and experienced as they walked through the wildnerness amongst these great beasts of our age. No game drive goes through real bushveld like the stuff she rode through in this episode! Just amazing! 😊🔥
EDIT: Also huge thanks to these two wonderful gentlemen for affording Noraly, and by extension all of us this experience. What absolute champs the both of them are. I hope they good things come there way in life..

I understand what you were feeling today. When I competed in South Africa, I stayed on the grounds of the safari. All of us had seen elephants before, but not like we saw them there. When we saw the herd come out of the jungle to the waterhole, we were like a bunch of little kids seeing elephants for the first time. I don’t think you can understand those feelings without experiencing it. So I love all of your journeys and I’m really happy that you got to experience that feeling of joy.

A magnificently timeless land, Esso and all who work there have my utmost respect admiration, what an experience..Noraly vulnerable yes, with the guidance and experiences of Esso and the others who work there your vulnerability is somewhat reduced. The heard of elephants the enormous size an experience of several lifetimes. Enthralled the big cats wow🇦🇺

Brings back memories of the time I spent in the Etosha game reserve. OmG… it was 45 years ago and it also that feeling has stayed with me fantastic, not on a bike, I hitchhiked with my girlfriend from Capetown. Still can’t believe I did that.
Thanks Norali for bringing it all back.

I can't imagine that any experience could ever surpass being in the presence of lions in the open as you are. And magnificent elephants too. Not sure if anything could be more beautiful or breath taking.

Seeing lions in the zoo behind bars or water is one, seeing them from a closed vehicle is two but seeing them from a motorbike must be a close encounter of the third kind! Amazing video, Thank you!

Positive way natuurlijk haha. Machtig, dat jij dit zo live mee maakt. En TOP dat we hier van mee kunnen/mogen genieten. Thnx Noraly.

I've been watching your channel for a year or so, always entertaining and some beautiful drone footage capturing your adventures. What I don't understand is the dislikes, it's always the same number (roughly) of thumbs down. Why on earth would people dislike your documentaries, especially this one. An amazing experience and my heart was in my mouth just watching so what it must have been like for you I can't imagine. Keep up the great work Noraly.
