SO helpful -- and a reminder that before people starting leaping around between adhesives there was the always reliable glossy accents and matte finishes that I'd transfer into little squeeze bottles (some with pins as toppers to keep the nozzles clean). Gonna return to them! And the Zig! loved it. Why did I ever move from these!? This video was a good reminder of some simple and dependable adhesives of all sorts. Thanks -- as good now as then.
Hahaha - "...compact adhesive booger." My grandkids would love that one! Great, informative video, even though it's several years old, and there are lots of new adhesives out there. Thanks!
I think I'm in love with the stick it adhesive. It's clean and no messing with the liquid glues for intricate dies. Awesome review! Thank you! Big thumbs up!
Carissa, this was an incredibly informative and helpful video. I think it's important, especially for beginners, that we educate ourselves on the products we purchase so that we not only save ourselves the expense but also that we understand the different properties of each product and know its "purpose". Often there are negative reviews left about products that unfortunately are false only because it was not used properly (ask me how I know...but lesson learned!). Much appreciated Carissa!
I have everything you mentioned except for the pink Tombow stamp runner. The two Zig two way glue pens I have are at least 12 years old and still work as good as when they were new.
Cool video on the adhesives. I have the ATG and the tombow stamp runner. They are my favorite adhesive to have in my Art supplies. The ATG still has the refills that is Acid Free/Photo Safe. I like the ATG is great to have two different refills for either the scrapbooker or card marker.
Thanks for the info on the ATG gun. I've been debating whether to get one, because I can't really craft much. No room. I have to keep moving my stuff and put them away. I don't have any space to let cards dry, so I can't do anything that requires a lot of dry time.
Thanks for the tip about the zig pens. I didn't know that. I have trouble with getting my nib tip to flow well. And I am so glad I am not the only one who refers to "glue boogers!" I don't know what kind of glue they use in mailers, but I refer to those as "mail boogers!"
Kinda late as to when this video was posted. But I wanted to mention that the adhesive eraser you mentioned by Thermoweb. I don't know what they might charge for it , but it's actually an item or product that has been around for a long time and not exclusive to them. In general you should be able to pick one up pretty cheep in the fine arts are of the large craft stores or in a fine arts store. I have always seen them marketed as rubber cement remover as it helps to pick up all the little balls of that cement from surfaces etc... Just an FYI
Carrisa , awesome video ! I have every single product you mentioned , I'm not sure that's a good thing or not :) . But just an FYI the ATG does offer an acid free refill , that's the kind Im using now . Thanks again !
great video. so informative and helpful. thank you for doing this. i didn't know about the glue remover working the way you showed it even though i have it! love the green/blue paper color. could you tell me who makes it?
Thanks for this video, very informative. Can you tell me how you achieved the gold foil look on the word "sunshine"? You mention using the 2-way adhesive after it dries, but are you adding the glue to the actual die before running it through the die-cutting machine? Wouldn't that ruin the die?
Sadly, ATG gun does not work for left handed crafters. The Adhesive line is oriented to the left side of the dispenser, easily seen by holding in the right hand; blocked and not visible when held in the left. Try it!
Thank you for this! I tried the link to the blog which didn't work for me but I found the post here: ellenhutson.typepad.com/in_touch/adhesives/ Thanks again!

This is a very good video. Thank you.

I'm a new craftier. This video should be a must watch video. Thank you very much for this awesome video.

GREAT and Helpful video thanks so much! This is going to help me during my confusion on what to use when I am Creating.
Wonderful instructional. TFS! Liked that you provided comparisons & demonstrated some results. :)

I've been using the Zig 2-way glue but hadn't realized there are different tips ---thanks for that information!
Excellent resource for adhesive information! thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks so much Carissa! This encourages me to get out some of the adhesives that I have hiding at the bottom of my adhesive basket. :)
Wonderfully thorough. I needed to know the ‘whys’ for the use of each choice. TFS

Thank you for the review. Acid Free / Photo Safe refills are available for the ATG Gun =)
This was so helpful! Thank you! Also i love your giggle ! ❤

Very helpful. Which country are these available in and where? Thanks. Looking for something to stick cardstock paper permanently. Thanks
These are some of my favorite adhesives tools :)
Thank you, I have found your video extremely helpful and very useful indeed.

Great! Learned a lot.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the tip about burping the bottle after using the Accent glue.

I've used the quilled precision tip on both multi medium matte and glossy accents and they always get clogged! Could this from humidity?
Excellent review, Thank you.
Very helpful. Thanks so much.
Great video! Thanks!
Very good info. TFS
Cutting your foam tape without gunking up your scissors..place a strip down on wax paper, then cut into strips..no more sticky scissors
Very informative! TFS
Very help thank you

Diane Bolton but you can still use it. I'm left handed and I love my atg gun. it would be lovely if they came out with a left handed version.
Diane Bolton I left a similar comment about it not being 'left-hander' friendly and the comment was removed.
Thank you for this! I tried the link to the blog which didn't work for me but I found the post here: ellenhutson.typepad.com/in_touch/adhesives/ Thanks again!
Ver y informativo 👍

Great video!
